This article explains why my biggest client went dark two years ago ('We're reducing our freelance budget' was the euphemism used when I asked what had happened). And now my next biggest client has gone suspiciously quiet this summer... #Publishing #ScientificPublishing 1/4

www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio... What 'universal appeal'? I sat through an episode a few days ago, and all I could see was the tired old clichés of reality TV, rehashed in a slightly different format.

Pow! Man in Batman costume chases down suspected Norwich handbag thief
Fascinating! www.theguardian.com/news/ng-inte...
In an unprecedented fit of creativity, I wrote a short time travel story. Never done anything like it before (which is what 'unprecedented' means, but I thought I'd stress that). If you want to read it, it's on my website: www.iankingston.com/story.html
I'm tempted to show this to an LLM and ask it to itemise all of the errors, but I fear for the integrity of the space–time continuum after the inevitable outcome.
I absolutely love this that someone just posted on linkedin clearly created by AI without even rudimentary checking. Surrey appears to be trying to escape to France. Staffordshire and Oxfordshire have annexed Wales. And Labour are very strong in the county of "Monthiste". Which has never existed.

Haven't had a chance to listen to all of this yet, but so far so dazzling!
My new album, As We Once Were, is released today! 14 tracks. One massive concept. 21 vintage synthesizers & four generations of women. All wrapped up with some really special guests including James Dean Bradfield from Manic Street Preachers, Hannah Peel, Gwenno, and Eaves Wilder. Fill yer boots!
Team TDK, because the shop up the road sold them cheap to students. Those albums that were 47 minutes long were really annoying. When I finally bought the genuine article, I still kept expecting the last song to finish suddenly just before the end.
Who remembers this notice in the day? The days when the C90 ruled and when a playlist had to be calculated to fit Were you Team Maxell or Team TDK? #cassette #c90 #tapes

This came as a surprise when I donated blood yesterday: www.blood.co.uk/news-and-cam... Not a fan of the band (not my kind of music), but this looks like a good thing. And I now have a Metallica guitar pick to give to someone who'll appreciate it.
