I rent skis & boots for the winter season as my kids grow out of things every few months at this stage. The ski place's scheduling software was pretty old and it was a pain to book 2 spots back to back for both kids. I was pleasantly surprised to see a whole new system this year that was awesome.

I asked the owner about when we showed up yesterday and he said that his son, a recent CmpSci grad, built the new scheduling software using AI in the off season. While anecdotal, it adds some credibility that a whole new class of custom applications is emerging that was previously out of reach.
