The Trump administration is exploring a new concession to Russia: lifting sanctions on the country’s flagship government investment fund, long viewed by U.S. officials as one of the Kremlin’s most powerful tools of international influence. - NYT

Congrats to Lula on overcoming Mark Zuckerberg and Donald Trump to defeat Hospital Pervert Jr., even as his opposition literally blocked off roads and turned off bus service during election day. Fascists are scary but they are always, 100% of the time, ultimately gigantic fucking losers.

Insane. Actually insane. Let’s make his money this year a waste, shall we?

Elon Musk has spent more money on American elections in the last two years than George Soros has in his entire life.

this is total gobbledygook? the process to decide who should be certified as the winner is the election, and there is no federal law that says the courts get to decide who that is.

Blanche on CBS says his suit against Alaska is "asking the court to step in where the Alaska Supreme Court didn't, which is to look at federal law and if necessary to allow a process for Alaska to decide who should be certified as the winner." (So, the voters won't get to decide. Got it.)

‘The Twilight Zone’ creator ROD SERLING was an early and outspoken critic of censorship. Here he is in 1959 talking powerfully about the insidious practice of “pre-censorship” and its ultimate cause.

🇨🇦 Mark Carney says he’s "concerned" about Starlink slowdown in Ukraine, which led to human casualties and reduced Ukraine’s ability to defend itself. He says Canada can’t rely on a single provider that could flip like that and put Canadians at risk, so he’s going to diversify.

Seizing Elon Musk's assets and trying him for treason would not be the first time in history when enemies of America from among the wealthy saw their fortunes confiscated.

AOC: "As AI begins to encroach in our society, their goal is to take your cognition away from you. AI's goal is to take your thoughts away from you, your ability to think away from you, so that you become dependent on a machine ... reading books is active resistance"

"To become very relevant in the real world - very useful or very dangerous - the AI does not need to match/exceed all human capabilities; it just needs to surpass enough of them. And as it continues to surpass humans .. it is becoming increasingly difficult to understand exactly how capable it is."

Cornyn on Starlink being throttled in Ukraine: "I don't believe that Elon Musk would do this without at least the acquiescence of the White House. I think it's frankly shameful. I think we should be supporting the victim, not the aggressor."

Ukraine was winning the war, so Trump kneecapped Ukraine to help Russia. I wish it weren’t that simple, but it is. Our president is in bed with our enemies.

the routine, pay for play pardons are all by themselves one of the worst corruption scandals in american history!

Don Moynihan@donmoyn.bsky.social

My brain cannot process this level of corruption. She was being paid $50 million to engineer a pardon from Trump *while working at the Justice Department* as a "Special Government Employee." And it worked. He got the pardon, and she got the money. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/20/u...

I'm not kidding, the guy simply has to be at the very least deported at the end of this. If we're doing "he's not from here" shit, he is the most not from here guy alive. He needs jail or deportation the second it's viable to do it.

Why? Because multi-trillion dollar multinational corporations & multi-billionaires are the new kings of us all. $999 Million isn't enough for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? I do not understand this obsession with extreme wealth/power. Too much is never enough with these freaks.

If this is accurate, Elon lied about not having control over Starshield, and he lied about the administration making the decision. More importantly, why is a private citizen even *able* to make decisions that could hinder US military operations?

In a classified briefing, a DoD official revealed to Senators how much Iranian attacks on U.S. bases have cost us. Now, I'm calling for the DoD to make that number public. Americans deserve to know how much of their money is being burned on Trump's war with Iran.

Just so you understand the scale of betrayal: first, our "partners" didn't warn Ukraine about the incoming ballistic missiles, so the air raid alert wasn't activated before impact, robbing people of their chance to survive. Then, Starlink was restricted to stop working at speeds above 100 mph.

If you are shocked this am that Trump’s government executed a search warrant against a Democratic Member of Congress and ignored a judge’s order then you haven’t been paying attention. Stop saying this isn’t how it works in the US. It is exactly how it works under Trump.

"The doc is facing more than a war of words from Musk, however .. As of Sept. 25, YouTube, Meta, TikTok and X had all refused. YouTube, where the trailer had been avail through regular channels, and Meta have since reversed course, saying that it had been flagged for “political content.”" Unreal.
