I've been struggling with managing an ever increasing amount of balls in the air and GitHub's UI hasn't been very helpful. So, after spending a week with Paseo, I decided to scratch my own itch and build a "did, doing, waiting, next" board for myself as a Paseo plugin.

I think if you use AI psychosis to disparage people you should log off for a long time and give some serious thought to the kind of person you're becoming and if that's really the kind of person you want to be.

I have a successor to Beans cooking. It's awesome, and you will hate it, but you will also love it.

I've been wiring some Chatto and Chatto-related things together over the last couple of days, some of which had been stewing for literally months, and my mind is melting with the possibilities. This is going to be fun

If you want to make a man your enemy, give him something for free

If you post something like this into an OSS project's chat, you don't deserve free software

release-please is shockingly useless in monorepos considering it's made by the we build everything in a big monorepo company

Talked quite a bit (in German) about @chatto.run, NATS, agentic engineering, hot chocolate, pretending to be a DJ, the relaxing properties of death metal, crying on trains and probably some other bits and bobs in this brief little four and a half hour podcast.

It's not that there's no moats anymore, it's that suddenly there's bridges *everywhere.*

2026 be like "there's no moat" when there really are moats everywhere for those with the eyes to see

Judging by Astra's gaffes today, I think it's safe to say OpenAI are releasing a new model tomorrow

Chatto 0.5 needs another week in the oven I think, but damn, that's going to be one nice release. Hopefully the subsequent minor releases on the path towards 1.0 will be a little smaller-sized :D

Most of the Chattoverse that I am in regular contact with by way of Chatto HQ is already running the betas and feedback has been super useful + positive. This is a good piece of software that I'm very proud of.

If you’re using rustls, upgrade to rustls-webpki 0.103.16 and/or webpki-roots or webpki-root-certs 1.0.10.

I wish I didn't need to wonder if the many many *many* recent regressions of Android 17 on my Pixel 7a are Google's way of telling me that it's time to get off my otherwise perfectly fine 2023 phone

Really kinda amazing that it's 2026 and we still don't have a PaaS where you just upload your compose.yml or k8s manifests and get charged for the compute/memory/volumes and that's it Whatever convoluted, insufferable service AWS has for this doesn't count

We actually briefly had one of the Docker Compose compatible flavor, I don't remember what it was called, but it was great. Didn't get any users so it eventually folded

"People should not be able to vibe code stuff without learning the craft first" comes from the same place as "student loans should not be forgiven". Congratulations, you've become the very thing you hate

Perfect uptime over the past 90 days, and that's with dozens of version upgrades rolled out while users were chatting. Chatto and Chatto Cloud are pretty good :D

I'm enjoying AI and find it useful, but the one thing that bugs me is that every! single! conversation! in my life is now about AI. Business calls? AI. Meeting friends? AI. Waking up in the middle of the night in a city I don't recognize, lying in a pool of my own vomit next to a dead goat? AI

My recent experiments of combining Vega Lite with DuckDB is that BI software suites are dead men walking. All of them. I was able to replicate a Power BI app closely by showing Claude the PDF (!) of the dashboards and then made it implement the more sensible filtering of Qlick.

Why is Conductor the only app in this space that understands that sometimes you want to whip up multiple PRs sequentially from within the same agentic conversation :( All other apps fail at this currently

I regret nothing

Funny that an arcade racer has the most memorable characters of any Star Wars media from the last 10+ years Yeah yeah Biddy Blas, scriiib dooooon! But I love every single one of these folks

With the exception of the "xyz eliminated" text stupidly blocking my view because it appears exactly where I'm looking to read the track, Galactic Racer is a marvel of game, character, audio and UI design, and even the story is weirdly compelling
