Disclosure: I wrote the original libraries in Turbo Rascal and 6502 assembler by hand over the last 6 or 7 years and used Opus 5.5 to convert to Turbo Rascal and Z80 for the Amstrad. If Ai is not you're thing, I'm sorry. Hope you will be kind enough just to scroll on by.

But if you'd like to make your own Amstrad games with this library, you'll need the latest versions of Turbo Rascal, 8bit Pixel Lab and Caprice (which has special memory injection support for TRSE projects to make build and run fast and super easy).

I wrote a library called Vixel for the Vic 20 in Rascal+6502 assembler. With a bit of Ai help it's now working as an Amstrad library with the 6502 converted to Z80 and supporting mode 0 and 1 graphic modes. I know Ai==not popular, but one of those things I'd unlikely be able to convert myself.

Using Imagery, created my title screen. Amstrad aspect ratio. Will have to do some colour editing to get it on the Vic 20 as well.

Meant loading screen, I don't have enough memory to have this for the title screen :-s

Transforming pixels is really important when creating graphics. Imagery has you covered with all the transformation operations you might need. hewco.itch.io/imagery/devl... Find out more and grab a copy for free or support me with a donation from the link above.

My new graphics tool is called Imagery, great for editing graphics, creating animation or working on game tile maps. You can find out more on the website with the getting started guides: imagery.in-pixels.uk

It's pay what you want, and you can grab it for free if you want. I genuinely don't mind, but if you find it useful and wish to support me and the project you can come back to the download button to drop any donation you like.

Is it possible to switch off adverts from your videos? I'm not monetised and don't plan to. Just noticed one of my videos I watched in a private session (no logged in) dumped a load of advertising at the beginning :(

Imagery - a pixel art and animator program I am making - a new feature can create tile maps for games. I've focused on PICO-8 here which has limited memory for maps. With some advice from Minion, the program uses strings to store the data and combined with meta-tiles it can handle many more rooms.

Going through a folder of old cartoons, thought I might well post a few of my favourites. Maybe there's a reason they never found a home but I always liked them.

Spritesheets are cooler if you can print them out, right? Still finding ideas for features to add to piqiMATION before it's release.

Publication day! Thank you to everybody who has bought a copy and, to those who haven't, there now follows an embarrassing scene in which I'll beg you on my bleeding knees whilst clawing at your legs, spluttering about the hardships for creators in these AI-driven times.

Look what the postman brought!

Got a few things signed last night and a photo. He must have been knackered by the end of his show but he stayed around for everyone and was was really nice (in contrast to what you expect from the style of his stand up).

We shall forever be asking my daughter 'where she is on her food journey' instead of what does she want for lunch. Mrs H got a head scratch from the werewolf's hand.
