I was injured in the line of duty working as a sheriffs deputy and needed a spinal surgery. Had to accept a medical retirement at 40 yrs old. Lost my County health insurance for myself and my daughter. But no one would sell me insurance because of the injury. I had no insurance until the ACA.

The ACA paid for my cancer treatments and my emergency ear reattachment surgery. It’s absolutely essential. #ACASavesLives
