Again: Why does Musk have operational control over any *military grade* version of anything. That’s not how DOD contracts work.

This is by far the best analysis of what’s happening in climate politics right now. Everybody read, please.

I went deep on RCP8.5, and how a climate scenario that's well over a decade old became the subject of a ridiculously bad-faith culture war newrepublic.com/article/2108...

Pleasantly surprised to see the advanced smart stores that #Zara has built. In NL, order can be picked up same day from an automated chute. Awesomely efficient!

The results of Musk’s chainsaw.

A maternity ward doctor donated his own blood during surgery to keep a pregnant patient alive. One woman gained fewer than 10 pounds over her entire pregnancy. Another collapsed and had seizures during labor.

Greetings from Kyiv, where the night brought missiles and drones. Explosions still continue this morning. Emergency power outages. Heating problems. Residential buildings hit.

Twitter was very entertaining this past weekend. Feels like a positive vibe shift after the swift and broad backlash when andreesen mocked the pope, to joyce carol Oates’s poetic tongue lashing of Musk basically stating he has no soul — which has him crashing out.

I helped make a film, out this week, called “Rovina’s Choice,” about the deaths this man without conscience or accountability has caused — already 600,000, ⅔ of them children.

As usual, Europe is reactive instead of proactive. This acquisition should never have happened. + there are a few more semi con companies in Eindhoven that were sold to Chinese companies. But seizure of assets escalates everything. Should have bought back ownership. #nexperia #semiconductors

Enjoyed Jane Goodall’s posthumous Famous Last Words interview on Netflix. What a legacy! Re: the witch doctor, as an African I got what she was saying — this part clearly went over B Falchuk’s Hollywood head hehe. #janegoodall

Odd this isn’t a bigger story. Means China has done (or close to) effective cost down engineering across the semiconductor stack needed for Ai. Huge implications.

#Anthropic seems to be more compatible with EU values than its competitors.. but has low awareness. Dario should do an EU-wide relations tour targeting government bodies, academia, public research hospitals and some corporations.

Interesting panel at #TechExEurope on boosting efficiency and greening #ai data centers. Most are at only 10% IT utilization and don’t measure emissions, water usage, harvest heat generated for reuse. Surprised these aren’t licensing requirements in the EU. Should be! esp for #hyperscalers.

i love this. Cursor is anthropic's biggest compute customer, and sends 100% of their revenue to Anthropic so that Anthropic can buy ads to sell Claude Code, a competitor to Cursor, which they are going to make better by buying data off of Cursor created by Cursor using Anthropic's models

Deals for coding data could give model makers like OpenAI and Anthropic deeper insights into how developers respond to code produced by AI and the tasks for which engineers rely on AI the most. Read: https://bit.ly/47kz87j

EU is demanding that every site use age verification technology, while insisting it do things it cannot do, and behave in a manner it cannot behave. This is not policy making. This is wishful thinking, with a side of "we'll just blame the tech companies for not waving their magic wand."

No reason to leave the credit out of an image post, imo. There’s plenty of space to say that the bright blue dot is Earth seen from Saturn, and also credit the folks with the attribution they requested. CREDIT: NASA/JPL-Caltech/Space Science Institute
