pink muhly grass absolutely throwing ass today. how do you pronounce muhly? i don’t know. im not going to read your comments if you tell me, im going to wait for it to come up in a real person conversation and just give it a shot. the risk of embarrassment is what gives life its spark

today i learned i fucked up my voting registration by gettin my address changed two days after the deadline to change it. i'm still registered to vote elsewhere in my state, so i'll get a mail-in ballot sent to where i live, then sent back to the town where i'm registered to vote. but it's a setback

i wish everyone who still needs to vote good luck in getting your vote out there. i'm gonna be takin it real seriously myself now. together we can stop this madness in its tracks. there will still be work to do afterward but you can feel good in knowing you contributed here

when people talk about election sabotage i wouldn't blame people for bein skeptical, but once it happens to you it really changes your perspective. today's republicans are some of the grimiest motherfuckers to walk the earth. and the establishment dems have no problem with it despite that.

it's still important that we vote. our political system is so broken, but it's the best way for us to turn things around right now. sometimes you gotta meet people where they're at, and most of the left arent't guns-blazing radicals right now, so revolution is off the table for the moment

i don't trust mail-in ballots anymore. in 2024's elections, i was in college up in vermont while being registered to vote in massachusetts, and needed a mail-in ballot. they arrived weeks after the election even ended. this kind of failure to get such a crucial thing delivered was blatant sabotage

"This remake is inviting new players into this world" is so condescending. Ohh wittle new players oooh you simply cannot handle playing games from 20 years ago...you're too wittle and dumb with your wittle brain

This is why I hate the “it has to be subtle!!!” Critique of queer media. The fact that we can’t just say what we are or what the character is is so reductive and constraining to so many queer writers. Don’t let cis people dictate how you show you identity. They don’t know what they’re saying.

When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

None of us should forget this. Meta should be subjected to corporate death penalty and permanently broken up into small pieces.

Brazil was of two huge election results today—alongside the defeat of the nationalist, authoritarian leader of Serbia: "the slate of candidates selected by protesting students had won at least 135 seats in Serbia’s 250-member legislature" www.nytimes.com/2026/10/25/w...

Lula has been reelected president, Brazilian media has now called. An extraordinary comeback for the left-wing politician who trailed by 2 points in round 1 but managed to hold off Flávio Bolsonaro, the former president's son.

Next up is Bei Bei!! A rather strange, silly hospital tech. Always playing around with her gadgets and gizmos, knowing that tuning them just right can lead her to victory... Bei Bei probably changed the most from initial sketch to release. Ended up being one of my favorites.

Billionaire JK Rowling is to be the subject of a BBC Scotland doc. Rowling spends much of her time and part of her huge wealth funding anti-trans law suits and organisations. You can tell a lot about a person by their yacht. So let's take a look at Rowling's 300ft yacht Samsara.
