Trump is a mob boss

I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

Hi I'm a teenage girl, blinded by the sun, driving on the wrong side of a blind curve in the hills.

Introduce yourself as what almost killed you. "Hey, what's up. I'm any one of several drivers who rolled through crosswalks and stop signs in Santa Monica ca. 2002-7."

Why aren't the Democrats having a press conference every day on the steps of the Capitol demanding that the Strait of Hormuz be opened and calling out the corruption? This is an emergency.

The DOE funding for the Connected Communities research grant I've been working on for the past 3 yrs has been canceled. There were a number (5?) of other grantees in the program that i would imagine have been affected as well. We were well into deployment and have just engaged a new community.

Can anyone explain to me why they're isn't more examination in the media about the ethics of trumps to to Scotland? It seems to me that it was solely for the purpose of promoting his business. The ribbon cutting seemed particularly egregious use of taxpayer dollars for purely self enrichment.

Hey #energysky. As a former utility DR/DER program manager, I saw that the real gap in the VPP model is the dearth of existing BTM flexible capacity. The cost of enrolling new devices, user engagement, and the proprietary API fees was prohibitive. Cost effectiveness from the U side was not there./1

The idea is to treat the retrofit/upgrade to flexible load as infrastructure. Yes it sits behind the meter. But it is a part of the system nonetheless. I think public power is a good model, either the Cooperative or the municipal utility. The Community Choice aggregation model is relevant. /3

Long term municipal bonds that are backed by revenues is also a good financing model. The bonds can also be floated by a local tax district that is called Mello-Roos in California. All this points to the VPP model that is focused on large scale deployment rather than simply a control platform. /4

So my quest is to find a model where the flexible load (appliances, HVAC, etc. ) is installed at no cost to the utility or the end user. The load is managed to provide value to 1) the end user 2) the energy procurement entity 3) the distribution utility. /2

#energysky Has anyone heard of an effort to set up a cooperative that will do appliance retrofits to install "smart" i.e. managed appliances such as HVAC, refrigerator, laundry, etc. I'm looking for alternatives that would enable a large scale retrofit that could support VPPs at low/no entry cost.

Isn't the Project 2025 goal to destroy the Civil Service and replace them with Trump toadies? Isn't that what these firings are about? It's not to cut costs, it's to free up those positions for loyalists?

Fuck you Democrats for being too timid to play hardball. If this were Mitch McConnell, he would have used every ploy and play to fuck our shit up. Now it’s almost fucking too late. Goddamn you fucking weak willed people. Use whatever tools. Be prepared go to jail.
