it feels unbelievably nice to feel loved for such a long time (5 years soon!!!) I don't think I really knew what that entailed until I met her. I just feel such a strong desire to make sure people like me don't have to be as lucky as I was to find safety in themselves or others

Flapjack octopuses (genus Opisthoteuthis) are perhaps the cutest octopuses around. Like other cirrate octopuses, they have fins, but theirs are small so they look like itty bitty ears. They get their name for the fact that like to squish down and look like a pile of pancakes. #OCTOtober

i think the masses are basically useless and unable to change things due to being entirely fickle and corralled by right wing media but i still believe in their capacity to change the world b/c i believe in magic, magic is real, witches exist, so i will always support the material struggle

is there a name for the moment when playing a game where a plot twist/reveal is so wide-reaching that the casual environments around the player character feel changed in invisible and hard to identify ways? like the tone of everything feels different despite few things actually changing

whatever kneejerk beef I have with llms seems to come from the same place as my beef with rich or powerful ppl - it's hard for me to see if they have any actual skin in the game (bc of different mechanisms for separating oneself from accountability). these might be foolish words but idk

#1 tool for self confidence: self-deprecating statements and humor is British shit. I don't want to associate with those motherfuckers. therefore I should be nice to myself

the most fun I have while playing Yakuza Zero is walking slowly and getting lost all while embodying the character of "coolest guy on the street" which is particularly special bc I have never been cool nor a guy

my transition is body-written evidence that I can self-actualize. If I can make my body in my image, I can do the same to my life and the work I want to do
