I think one of the fundamental problems we have is that everyone wants to rewind to 2019 and pretend that none of the past five years ever happened. The pandemic was a chance to look at our overstretched and under resourced healthcare system looked like under stress and maybe, I dunno, fix things?

I think we are under-appreciating what a horrific impact RFK Jr's AIDS denialism could have He could threaten domestic & global HIV programs, including ARV treatment programs & elimination of mother to child transmission I find it rather grotesque that some doctors (!) are out there boosting him
