To target multiple classes with the same prefix, you'd typically have to resort to brittle attribute selectors. To make things easier, CSS is getting a new selector: the β€œClass Prefix Selector” (`.foo-*`). Check brm.us/class-prefix... to get the details. (Browser Support: None πŸ˜› β€” just resolved!)

Many thanks to @anthropic.com for offering six months of Claude Max. It made building Fylgja UI a much easier process.

Fylgja CSS@fylgja.dev

Fylgja CSS has always focused on the layer below components. Good defaults, design tokens, utilities. But one question kept coming back. How do you build a modal, a carousel, or a pagination bar with it? Fylgja UI is the answer. Read, copy, paste. fylgja.dev/blog/introdu... #fylgjacss #css #ui

πŸ’‘ CSS Tip! An old design pattern solved by a modern CSS feature. css-tip.com/responsive-s... Learn how Gap Decorations makes it easy to add a separator between items using simple code with no hacks. It works with different alignment settings, and you can easily adjust the shape as well.

#cssday @nerdy.dev awesome your adopting colors with only hues and chroma, looking forward to Open Props v2, also if you don't mind 😁 I also want to add `hue-rotate` to my version in Fylgja CSS

YES, Dark Mode Toggles _should_ be a browser feature. I wrote about this before: brm.us/dark-mode-ov... Find the link to the Chrome Bug in the post, and hit the star next to it to "upvote" the bug. (I even have a prototype extension to provide this for you: brm.us/chrome-dark-...) #cssday

brm.usDark Mode Toggles Should be a Browser FeatureWhen implementing Dark Mode and ways to toggle it, developers currently need to duplicate code and roll their own toggle implementation. What if, instead, browsers would take care of all that?

I love you @zed.dev and your great but your extension publishing is just bad, I suggested a extension for Magento 2 snippets and a colleague added one for a LSP and both are still open after 2 months of waiting ☹️

My new Mac is finally rocking its new stickers! πŸ₯° This time it’s a mix of gaming and dev stickers, and I’ve left some spots open in case I find something cool to add.

It’s rare that I switch editors, but #ZedEditor has completely won me over these past few weeks. It’s a total breath of fresh air, insanely fast and the AI integration is seamless.

corner-shape is one of those things where when you first see it, it's like "oh cool, I can make a scoop!" It's something new, which is fun, but it can be hard to think of good use cases. But, as @cassidoo.co looks at here, it's going to open up a lot of possibilities πŸ™‚ cassidoo.co/post/css-cor...
