Big agree with my fenn here. o_o The movie's aesthetic aesthetic (Return to Silent Hill, for context) was absolutely fantastic, really nailed the feel of the game, and the unsettling creepy psychological horror of it all, without resorting to cheap gore to shock the viewer, but the script was SO BAD

Okay so me and @gravecat.kittyfox.social are watching Return to Silent Hill and were expecting a trainwreck. But while the plot-to-screen adaptation isn't great, the visuals are *immaculate* and it was clearly done by people who have actually played the game So like..absolute credit for that
