go.bsky.app/75SvR2M - Who am I missing? ~got bored this afternoon, do forgive me. But on a serious note would love to know who I haven't discovered on here yet (or mistakenly omitted due to the sheer amount of people)

I have just learnt about anonymous.4open.science The site helps anonymise GitHub repos for double blind submissions! Quite cool! Will start using it

ah damn, RIP Margaret Hamilton. she took safety-critical software engineering seriously, and got people to the moon and back. news.mit.edu/2026/margare...

You have a QML task that doesn’t fit into one quantum device and no quantum network. Is it even worth it for you to knit multiple quantum computers together with classical communication? Perhaps! We’ve set out a few guidelines on how you can answer this question: scirate.com/arxiv/2610.0...
My newest blog post: a short rant about how two adjacent communities are using the word non-local gate and we’re all getting very confused: grageragarces.github.io/dqc_articles...

arxiv has to be bold now and restrict submissions to X per person per year. avoids the flood of papers that is incoming, and also incentivises researchers to publish the most interesting results. gives them time to digest and think about what AI is producing. other work can be shared differently :)
New short paper exploring how variational quantum circuits (a type of QML circuit) can be either trainable, cut affordably, or non-simulable, but probably not all three. Another reason not to distribute through classical channels: scirate.com/arxiv/2607.1...

For the past 70 years, scientists have taught us that female mammals are born with a finite ovarian egg supply. In humans, that supply dwindles until menopause, when it goes bankrupt. That dogma might be utterly wrong, new research suggests. www.scientificamerican.com/article/the-...
New pre-print: a quantum ring all-reduce, the primitive behind large-scale ML training. We cut online communication, enable info-theoretically private aggregation, & show quadratic/exponential advantages on gradient-conflict problems. scirate.com/arxiv/2606.2...
Yesterday I gave a short intro to Distributed Quantum Computing at the Center of Quantum tech in Singapore! You can check out my (20 min long) dry run here: m.youtube.com/watch?v=xUrb...
I have opened an issue for MQT Bench github.com/munich-quant... , but generally if you’re thinking of making a benchmarking suite please add expected ideal results for the circuits
In case you doubt why would distribution be useful for compute: ~ from arxiv.org/pdf/1802.05799

I have a few things to plug so I guess this needs to be a thread. First: new paper! What if instead of designing quantum software with H's in boxs and of weird things, what if you just play whack-a-mole with a managable set of variables. Turns out it works! scirate.com/arxiv/2605.2...
Interested in what resource estimation for minimisation looks like in DQC? Well I have a new blog post: grageragarces.github.io/dqc_articles...

Recent work were Majid Haghparast and I explore how the optimisation of quantum circuits behaves when implemented before and after partitioning in a standard compiler pipeline for distributed quantum computing: arxiv.org/pdf/2605.02727 Will be presented at DisQIC within ICDCS this summer.
Are you in the Distributed Quantum Computing space? Do you develop hypergraph partitioners? Have you evaluated these partitioners using random circuits? Well, you shouldn’t… Random circuits are a computationally expensive & misleading testbed for partitioner performance: scirate.com/arxiv/2605.0...
I recently wrote an article for physics world on AI generated experiments. It included thoughts from the researchers on how this technology will change the role of experimentalists (particularly junior ones) physicsworld.com/a/meta-desig...
Very excited to have had two papers accepted this week! The camera ready versions should make their way to arXiv by the end of next week :) sites.google.com/view/disqic2...
