The consent of We the People is conditional, and may be withdrawn at any time should we collectively decide this government no longer suits our needs.

He is actually saying, out loud, "send all these Black people back where they came from?!" Did I get that right? We need to finish Reconstruction, and now we know the reasons not to compromise this time.

Tom Emmer: "Minnesotans are so afraid that you're gonna call us a racist, you're gonna call us an Islamophobe. You know what? I'm done being even the least bit careful. Somalis don't assimilate. And if they don't assimilate, then they should go the hell back to where they came from."

This is just about the most terrifying headline I have ever read. Had to check for an Onion byline...

Josh Hokit just ended his post-fight speech at the White House UFC event by yelling "Michelle Obama is a man!" A disgraceful spectacle through and through

A quarter-billion dollars in one night is a pretty vivid datapoint for the guns-vs.-butter debate.

Trump on Fox & Friends: "They're dying to make a deal. They want to make a deal so badly. We dropped $250 million of bombs on them last night. They're really in submission. They just don't know it yet."

Hegseth uses his D-Day anniversary speech in Franch to take veiled shots at NATO and European immigration policies

BREAM: The Journal says percentage of delinquent credit card balances is 13%, the highest in 15 years. People are using them for necessities. Your message to them? HASSETT: We talk to CEOs of the credit card companies all the time, and there's not any threat to them. People are taking a bit longer.

@blumenthal.senate.gov So far this is being done at a federal level, where POTUS is immune*. Is there a state where this could be prosecuted? Who would have standing? *Unless this can be construed as outside "presidential duties".

Judge Ludig was just on Velshi. According to him, the felon is guilty of colliding with the DOJ in creating his slush fund. It will be interesting to see what the courts decide on the matter. At this point, at least one judge is investigating it and is requiring an answer from the DOJ.

I have made the difficult decision not to perform at the Freedom 250 event. I know many of you will be disappointed, but it is apparent this is not the right venue for my work.

NEW: I've filed a claim with Todd Blanche for compensation from the $1.776B slush fund for the unlawful investigation by the government into my podcast in August 2019. I'm seeking $8.647 million in compensation for weaponized lawfare - the equivalent of punitive damages, lost pay and retirement.

How many of these "assassination attempts" have they staged now, this is the fifth? Getting kind of thread-bare as a ratings boost.

This does *not* mean we can back away from removing him from office with utmost urgency and by *whatever* means available.

"Why don't Americans-" The ruling class of America has intentionally disempowered its citizens spread across 3,000+ miles of land and then funded the police force as an occupying army that happily murders anyone who opposes them and imprisons whoever is left as slave laborers. So phone calls it is

Conflating Israel with the Jews is dangerous: it makes Jewish people everywhere responsible for the atrocities committed by Israel.

Tom Nichols@radiofreetom.bsky.social

It's not sarcasm. Joe Kent holds some pretty kooky views. He and wife served honorably, she gave her life. No shade on his service to his country, but "this war is about the Jooz" is, like, typical

Correction: Joe Kent is not blaming "the Jews." That would make no sense. He is blaming Israel, which is fair and quite valid.

Trump: "I fucked up. HELP!"

Trump says the U.S. will be “bombing the hell out of the shoreline” and shooting Iranian boats out of the water to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, while claiming Iran’s military has been “100% destroyed” (not true). He also called on China, France, Japan, South Korea, and the U.K. to send warships.

I keep seeing people ask about the 25th Amendment. Guys. His entire Cabinet is walking around in shoes that don’t fit because they’re scared to take them off. The 25th is never happening.

Thing is, mines are like a sniper. Doesn't actually need to be one around, but if there might be, just so long as you aren't sure there isn't, you stay put.

Get your own damn shekels. Done giving you mine.

Iran will probably be more open to a ceasefire if they are handed over Trump and Netanyahu; it would also help create goodwill towards stopping the war completely.

Replying to @qasimrashid.com

You notice how every time there is an insanely fascist Trump piece of legislation, just enough Democrats in the house flip to vote with Republicans to make sure it passes? The vote to stop war failed by 3 votes because 4 Democrats flipped red. This is controlled opposition. Jeffries must resign.

we appear to have four competing fascist movements jockeying for control: blood & soil nazism under miller and hegseth, darwinian ecofascism from rfk, technofascism under vance and musk, and one Big Wet Hitler who understands the true animating core of the american volk is a deep love for shopping

So just to be clear - Hegseth’s Pentagon is shooting down our own drones with lasers in Texas — but they want Anthropic to put fully autonomous killer robots in their hands? What could go wrong?
