I’m in Austin with my dad for the f1 Grand Prix and loving it.

Seeing this Saturday, so I get to post about my Friday. My wife and I spent the day together seeing fall colors and enjoying a large piece of public-private property.

I missed this due to a full appointment load yesterday but I'm thankful I almost never dread going to work. (Coming back from vacations is still hard)

I have learned to be grateful for trials, even if everything goes wrong. It means I'm alive, I understand situations, I care, and more. I can work with failure; I can't work with not trying.

13 years ago I was in a coma for a month and in hospital for 6. Really hard period of my life made harder by how absolutely rotten the hospital food was. We’re coming up on the date. I had a prime rib sub today and thought to myself “god this kicks the shit out of powdered gravy and potatoes”

Grateful that I decided to value myself enough to take a chance and move out of my parents' house. Get to go to a Cat Cafe as part of my commitment to self-therapy and then Commander Night!

Oops, missed Saturday. I saw a person who works at my LGS outside a theater - they waved, said hi and knew my name. I blanked. Not unusual for me; I'm terrible with names. But because this person is so nice, I felt pretty bad. I spent an hour trying to figure it out & still don't know.
