tragic news out of paris this morning: sebulba has died after crashing his idiotic space car in a tunnel while being persued by the paparazzi. he was 691, we guess. who knows? grogu, who was riding shotgun, was ejected and hit the wall with such force that he liquified.

watching pbs and there was an ad for some jane goodall experience or whatever but one of the features was one could "interact with computer generated chimps" and buddy, let me tell you: i'm already on this website everyday

sticker of cartoon sebulba peeing on a sienar fleet systems logo

getting stuck in traffic on coruscant behind flying pick up truck with sebulba sticker on back window like the dale earnhardt 3

roger ebert has been dead for years! it is we who are deceived; our legs which have been pulled! nathan 'the film critic prankster' fielder does it again!

the biggest problem with fandom in general, and star wars in particular, is the inability for a great many people to accept that sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. sometimes there isn't a wealth of lore, sometimes a yoda is just a little green freak and that's ok!!

i ended up buying this as a goof and it is actually really good; should not be limited edition. this is not an ad, i have not been paid, but they should pay me or send me free pumkin spice mr clean juice and i am intentionally still not making it clear whether i mopped or drank it. either way!!!

I'm just saying: if they didn't want me drinking mr clean, they wouldn't have made it pumpkin spice

my only 9/11 story is that my first job was at publix not long before that all happened at that some of the hijackers shopped at our store and that we all eventually had to reckon with the fact that we made their shopping a pleasure

reading a non-fictional history book which devotes its entire first chapter to why virtually all accounts of the covered period are not only wrong, but are also kinda idiotic (and have the very-obvious proof to support this) is extremely good shit

<sheena easton voice> 🎵 my baby likes the band mudvayne the song "dig" that goes "brr brr deng" he's wearing huge jncos again to get tramped in the mosh pit 🎵

i think one really unfortunate aspect of the ai backlash is that it has distracted people from the absolutely worthy fight against gratuitous, oversaturated hdr being in everything

* shelled pistachios are not as good as in-shell pistachios because it's the effort, the suffering which makes those tastier * BUT when you find one shell-less pistachio floating around in the bag of shell-having pistachios, this is somehow the most special pistachio ...this is the duality of man

you just know that now that is protein everything that they're gonna put back all the gluten they took out of the bottled waters

If I had to describe the heart and soul of Bluesky it would the following: a guy who didn’t actually read Emily Wilson’s review of Nolan’s Odyssey movie defending it against a guy who didn’t actually watch Nolan’s Odyssey movie

this game slaps. it's ostensibly niche, japanese political satire _and yet_ it's pretty fun on its own merits _and_ you get chased and possibly caught by male, leather-clad dominatrices who pull your character's pants down and whip him with a riding crop. this was a sega game. in 1985.

I'M SORRY SEGA 1985 ARCADE

they finally threw these nasty little freaks into a blender and marketed them for human consumption.. we're finally gonna eat these little bastards

LE: now, I see here that the lyric you chose to represent the Lowe's brand is 'what in the world is in that room, what you got in that room?' I assume that the lyrics surrounding that are about home decor? DD: mhm that's right yes LE: and we should play this exactly how often during the world cup?

mister beefy@gnarly.dad

DON DRAPER: of course you're familiar with the line in ludacris' 25 year-old hit 'roll out' which goes 'what in the world is in that room?' LOWE'S EXECUTIVE: of course, who isn't? idiot. DD: <points to a storyboard which just says 'lowe's = rooms'> LE: donnie we're gonna make a million dollars

look, culver's is really, really good, and i've had their shrimp, and it's characteristically good... but that said, you need to be studied by science if you believe fast food shrimp, the actual deadliest catch, is a status symbol

unfortunately the ufo came up the wrong side of opa locka on the way to the stadium and got carjacked and was immediately, accidentally driven directly into the sun

Dexerto@dexerto.bsky.social

A Brazilian psychic teared up while claiming that aliens will invade the Brazil vs Scotland match at the World Cup She says UFOs will abduct players and hundreds of fans from the stadium

they showed fans in the crowd and one of them was holding the world cup? it's already been decided, and the winner was an old man?? what is this farce on the screen then??

in the world cup, when you see the referees writing on the yellow cards, it's because they're writing their phone number on it before they give the foul and the reason for this is they love bad boys

is matthew broderick in gambling app commercials everywhere or is that just here in florida.. is he doing the thing stars did in the 80s in japan where they assumed people wouldn't see the ad?
