Finally got round to seeing The Odyssey at the IMAX. I'm going to sound like a philistine saying this, but the bigger screen added absolutely nothing except seeing how many shots were actually out of focus.

Ok, the film ended up being absolute shite but I would recommend watching it for just how batshit nuts the third act is in comparison to the rest of the film. It's like they replaced the writer and director and just went with whatever they wanted.

Tonight's film is Practical Magic 2. Apart from the cinematography making it look like a typical Netflix movie, what annoys me most is how broken the timeline is. The first film came out 28 years ago, they've all got smartphones, and yet the daughters are somehow in their early 20s in this one.
