So... I guess what I can take home from the General Staff Assembly: More work or more responsibilities probably for everyone. Shorter deadlines in some departments. Less overall budget, including personnel. And mandatory staff reduction. And if the AFD wins, we're fucked six ways to Sunday anyway.

Well, I have my lil Kia EV2 for a little over a week now...and I'm still totally sold on it. I mean, good, because I have it and I can't get another. ^.^' But it's still good that everything works well so far. And my old car got sold as well for more than I anticipated, so ... that's nice as well.

I might have mentioned it before, but bandanas might be the single most adorable things that you can put on a lil character. For me that is at least. I mean I also really adore a (half realistic) diaper peek or -bulk (or even plainly visible ones) on a kid char, but I am very partial to bandanas.

And finally got my KIA EV2. Longer drive with @kuraichan.bsky.social to collect it from the car seller, but now it is here! Kinda fell in love with this little EV (yes it will get 2 Eevee stickers!). Air Variant with additional assistants and heat pump. It's boxy but cute, comfy and good cockpit.

Playing around a bit more with the #Nanofoamer Pro Gen2. Trying to work out #plantmilk for #latteart. And it seems the Alpro Not M*lk is a pretty good candidate. It's still needs some more adjustments, but it's already pretty good. A little less aeration maybe. This is: Blue magnet 170ml Program 3

Plant milk in general is more difficult to produce a good stable microfoam with. So that's already not bad. Barista editions, like the Barista Not M*lk, add fat & protein to help with that. It's still more difficult so . Keep in mind: it will always have a taste of its own. Not bad, just different.

Also, yes...I seem to be using a lot of #Subminimal stuff in my coffee game, because they have such an array of really good, really helpful items. The Nanofoamer Pro Gen 2, the Subscale which I got ran over by a car and a Subminimal Flick WDT tool, which I love because it retracks and you can't...

Somehow a #Subminimal #Nanofoamer Pro Gen2 ended up in my kitchen. With "somehow" meaning that thing was on sale and it was a really good price. Took a few tries to get used to, but I does excellent microfoam. Silky and glossy and it doesn't take much longer than using my steam wand. Really nice.

The Latte Art I poured is a little different and slightly thicker. Pouring on top of a Caffe mocha behaved differently thanks to the sugar free cocoa in there. Still nice and the foam is still great, despite my mediocre pour ;) #espresso #latteart #coffee

Today I almost killed my Subminimal Subscale. But it turns out, that those coffee scales are tougher than I thought. We had packed for the way home after the holiday, I needed something from the car & the Subscale dropped onto the street... Right when a car drove by and drove over it. Or at least...

... dragged it down the street hitting it multiple times with the tires. I thought the Subscale was done for, but ...no. Amazingly it's just chipped and scratched but still works perfectly. That was pure luck (or bad luck dropping it right in front of a passing car 😅)
