One of these men flew 39 combat missions. The other carries his small son on his shoulders as a human shield and gives Nazi salutes…

“You are a traitor.” An absurd and insulting thing to say to anyone who posts what Senator Kelly did. And even more insulting since he served as a U.S. Navy captain and a NASA astronaut. Kelly was a combat pilot and flew 39 combat missions during Operation Desert Storm in the Gulf War.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers. This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder. Auschwitz took time.

I know there’s a lot right now. But folks need to understand what this means. A suspension this long would mean people living with HIV lose their medicine for months. People around the world lose their PrEP for months, putting millions at risk of getting HIV. Drug-resistant strains could emerge.

Remember: Almost all of us are the descendants of immigrants who fled persecution, or were brought to America under duress, or sought better lives for themselves and their descendants. Politicians who stoke fear and hatred over immigration want you to forget this. Do not.

One way to reduce drug spend is to have the FDA do an analysis of how long medicine retains it's potency. It can do it one drug at a time. No one should throw away medicine they shouldn't have to. Whether pharmacy or patient. www.propublica.org/article/the-...

propublica.orgThe Myth of Drug Expiration DatesHospitals and pharmacies are required to toss expired drugs, no matter how expensive or vital. Meanwhile the FDA has long known that many remain safe and potent for years longer.

Erasure is ignoring the health needs of at-risk populations. Erasure is deadnaming & denying people’s identities. Erasure is ignoring the science behind existential threats to us all. Erasure is changing the names of mountains that never belonged to you. Erasure is white supremacy in action.
