Scientifically, a raven has 17 primary wing feathers, the big ones at the end of the wing. They are called pinion feathers. A crow has 16. So, the difference between a raven and a crow is only a matter of a pinion.

My sister in law saved my nephew. He was just a few inches under. Just looking at her. Silently drowning. She pulled him out of the water and he was ok.

Every summer I repost this article on how to spot drowning. Please read it and pass on. In the last few years I’ve had SIX messages from people who saved a kid’s life after clicking on the link from my feed. slate.com/technology/2...

It’s so funny how some people in the comments of this video are like, “Kids are so cute with all the silly things they do!” And all I can think about is that I’ve done things like this with my dogs as an adult. 😂

One treason I’m boycotting local news is the unnecessary drama. In a rare glance, my local news had “Artic Assault” as the title. We’re getting 12-16” — it’s not unusual and easily handled by our road crews. I’m not sure using the same word that describes a horrific crime needs is needed. #boycot 🙄

The Moai socks were worn by the Rapa Nui people between the 13th and 16th centuries, and still impress even today. These monolithic foot coverings, which can weigh up to 82 tons and stand over 33 feet tall, represent the ancestors of the Rapa Nui, serving as a connection to their cultural identity.

This is Winry. She was having a very action-packed dream. Can't remember the details, but Keanu Reeves was there. 13/10 (TT: itsaudreylauren)

In Minnesota, we’ve lowered prescription drug costs, stabilized insurance costs, and lifted the burden of medical debt. And now we just ranked the third-best state for health care.

TIL: The central cone is mounded, spiny, and dark brown or orange-brown, resembling a hedgehog (in Greek, echinos) or a sea urchin, from which the genus name "Echinacea" originates. #FlowersOnFriday #FeelGoodFriday #FloralFriday #dailyflowers 🌱 #flowerreport #bloomscrolling

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific. If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

It's really quite something. Russia's economy IS bigger than Mexico's. But not dramatically so. ~$2.2 trillion vs ~$1.8 trillion and Mexico has a more complex and diversified economy. I come back to these points because we're highly integrated with these two quite large and prosperous economies.

Any story that covers Tesla vandalism but doesn’t mention Musk’s league of incompetent racists letting kids in Africa die as a big motivating factor is just billionaire propaganda.
