It's so funny to see AI brained people acting like a future where all media is the equivalent of Redbox era mockbusters is a good outcome

I have had the boss battle theme music from smt nocturne stuck in my head for two days now because it was deep in the background mix of a YouTube video and that speaks to how effective it was

I finally went into the dlc area in dragons dogma 2, and while cool, I was really hoping for an "into free" jump scare.

i was looking up that red bull sponsored high altitude skydive thing as a marketing stunt people actually enjoyed, learned the record for height was broken, click on the wiki page of the guy who broke it and see this pic:

Kwik Trip is getting rid of roller dog grills, and upon hearing that the first image that burst into my mind was Leland Palmer slowly breaking down while staring at a picture of roller grill as Laura's theme plays.

It's a less productive field, but all the beyond belief: fact or fiction meme joke people really need to watch breaking the magicians code: magic greatest secrets finally revealed. You trade frakes cocksure smugness for an unbelievably horny Mitch peleggi explaining how you were deceived by tits

I was on my screen porch and I hear, in the distance, the instrumental intro to chers do you believe in life after love. As it gets louder I finally see a bike with light up LED wheels come into view, and just as the vocals come in the dude riding clips a curb and crashes.

I finally got around to reading the haunting of Hill House and I feel as if Shirley Jackson 100% met an Arthur type dude IRL and decided to utterly roast him in fiction.

I'm seeing reports that Lindsey Graham was found folded in half in a laundry press in an experimental attempt to suck his own dick

We're pulling off the painted over wallpaper that's been up in our kitchen since I assume.... the early 70s? And as you remove it, it releases mummified food smells, which is deeply upsetting. Even moreso that it's not just one food smell, it varies as you go

I have to imagine the absurd and disproportionate pushback to the election of left wing candidates in deep blue districts is that is that lots of party leadership is sheltered in deep blue districts which are uniquely vulnerable to being primaried. They will be fighting uphill in an actual primary.

All the talk about the risks to moderates in purple states is cover for not wanting to get kicked off the gravy train. A moderate in a purple state can still run as a moderate, regardless of whether NYC is represented by people who reflect the values of its citizens.

I stopped at the grocery store today and overheard two dipshitted townies talking about how the spongy moth pheromone spray that is being delivered by planes in the region is actually "the new chemtrails that turn kids trans"

for clarity, it's a synthetic pheromone that mimics the one the females emit to attract males. By blanketing the area it makes it much harder for them actually find each other and reproduce. Clearly, preventing deforestation is a secret plot.

what a complete dipshit. Ah yes, because more moderate candidates perform better in purple districts deep blue districts should elect... (checking notes) limp dick do nothing moderates. Imagine being paid to be this fucking clown brained

while at the grocery store I overheard a college age woman say to her friend "he had sandwich bag dick" and it's been ricocheting around my brain like a weapon

I've been able to leave the keys for my modern vehicle at home lately and it makes me realize how fucking annoying giant ass car key/remote unlock fobs are. There's obvious utility, but it's really nice not having a massive chunk of plastic and metal clipped to my beltloop

Changed the tires, tubes and tape, and it is running again. This might be the most intimately familiar I have ever been with a piece of machinery. I am very much hoping that it will pass its paces for the next few weeks so I can trust it to be a camping bike #ct90 #adventurecycle

Had a dream where I was reading the plot summary of the Santa clause on Wikipedia and that it started with Tim Allen stealing a bunch of Star Trek memorabilia and putting it into hock and ended with him riding a sleigh delivered nuke into Omaha a la Dr strangelove

I was loaned a compression tester and felt like I was losing my mind for almost two hours before I realized it was missing a Schrader valve. #ct90

The starter on my propane grill is shot, so I've been using a gooseneck grill lighter inserted into a port on the side to light the burners. Was having trouble getting it to ignite and must have let too much gas build up, because when it actually kicked on it rocketed the grates off the grill

Finally got around to cracking open the case on my ct90 to find out what horrors went wrong with the transmission. The answer was yes.

and of course it's the earliest variant of the ct90 in the US so it uses weird and slightly different parts than the many iterations after it.

I need to change the tube on my 1972 schwinn three speed and I am dreading it because it uses an annoying size and the rims don't have a lip so getting the tire properly centered is a huge trial and error pain in the ass.

When do you think was the most recent instance of someone popping out of an oversized birthday cake and doing a striptease in the real world? It feels like the sort of thing that happens maybe once or twice a decade at this point.

Like I get why someone would say “Hey the guy had kids, think about them when you’re celebrating the man’s death” but I gotta say if my dad died and tons of strangers THRILLED about it I think I’d be a little curious as to why and if I already knew why maybe I wouldn’t think my dad was so great?
