I would also note that Dems are not even unified in impeaching Trump. The 3rd time this session that Green forced the vote, 46 Dems voted 'present' and 18 voted AGAINST impeaching Donald Trump.

Also, I'm a full believer that there's no such thing as a spoiler candidate. A candidate either wins a vote or doesn't. If the mere presence of another option loses a vote, then that's on the candidate and no one else.

Sadly, this is who Cornel West has been for years. If you're nice and cordial to him, no matter your ideology, he's on your side. The second you question him, the man's an absolute ghost.

I'd also add that West's 2024 run might be one of the most hilarious bad attempts to run for president. He started out as the nominee for the People's Party & made his announcement alongside alleged rapist and party founder Nick Brana. This came after accusations against Brana emerged.
