People talk about Bluesky users "being in a bubble" like it's a bad thing but the more I think about it the more I kinda like it? A protective bubble I could deploy for me and my friends sounds great. I wouldn't want to be in it all the time though, maybe if it had a 10 second cooldown and 650 HP?

Not only an incredible talent, but a rare talent who also thought it was funny to just voice random memes every once in a while

R.I.P. to Eric Bauza Out of all the actors who voiced the rabbit, you were the one who came the closest to Mel's original voice. You should've been around for 40 more years to voice him.

Anti-trans Democrats are spreading poison when we can least afford it, during elections in this ongoing fascist takeover. As a strategy, it’s a recipe for failure. As a moral stand, it’s reprehensible. PS I’m the father of young trans woman and I’ll never forgive anyone who makes her life harder.

It always comes back to this for me; if AI was so good, such a disclosure would be a selling point. If AI was everything these slop jockeys said it was, they should be proud to let people know their game was AI made. But the proof is in the pudding, and they can't stand that people don't want it.

I can't believe he's still at it, it's been days

Social media sucks ass, but the internet itself is one of the greatest inventions in human history. I have made deep, important friendships with people that are halfway across the world and can experience things that I would have never been able to do as a young kid in a small town.

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

I think it's funny how most of the issues some gamers have with certain games can be resolved by simply, playing something else for a bit. XIV content slowed to a crawl? Play WoW for a bit. WoW frustrating you? Play XIV or Guild Wars or something. There are, in fact, still a lot of MMOs out there.

laughed at the idea of kickassia in the criterion collection then laughed again at the knowledge that if that ever happened multiple mutuals would fight each other to the death to be the one to write the accompanying essay

No one should be surprised about Bioware closing. This was only a matter of time, as being owned by EA is basically a death knell that can resound for years. No, the thing that pisses me off the most about this is how easily EA shot it in the head. Just a small little footnote in a paragraph-

-on a blog post about "building the next chapter" that spent more time on fucking EA Sports. At the end of the day, it's nothing to them. Just another cog they ground down, tossed aside. Video game history is nothing compared to gambling. A shrug and a click, done. Just shameful. Fuck them.

to me the existential threat posed by AI slop games is less "AI slop games will steal our sales" and more "the onslaught of AI slop and the exhaustion over having to second guess every new game will make people mentally check out from supporting new games at all and retreat to their backlogs"

girlfriend: you love me right? me: of course girlfriend: more than bleach opening 13, especially the parts with aizen glaze? me, through gritted teeth: ʸᵉˢ my brain:

I do feel bad about how ingrained AI is for coding disciplines but I also see why it did. It's one of the most time-intensive aspects of projects that can be some of the most frustrating hours of your life and absolutely no one champions it when it's done.

I can look at art I would make and feasibly see an improvement from years ago, but so can everyone else. Programming is hidden. To people, it either works or it doesn't. That's the kind of mentality that makes it prime for automation, replacement.

The shared iLvl change next expansion is going to be a godsend for "I wanna be this job for a few days" feelings.

I think it's funny that I'd consider my WoL more of the academic, like a Scholar or Sage, but every time I *really* think about her, I think "Man...I should try to figure out a good Dark Knight glam."

Last I'll post about this, but Elon Musk disagrees with me. This means I am onto something, and I feel more valid in my opinion than ever.

It's been so long that I felt so much regret that she is my kami oshi. I hate her so much she is so funny.

Her fake corporate laugh all throughout the stream caused my frenzy meter to shoot up. She's too good at that.

I already saw it in Cai's route, but Leda has something deeply, deeply wrong with her, that's awesome.

This is a deep cut microaggression but I'll be mad forever that all the dumb men in Ace Attorney (including villains) get merch and there's literally nothing for the best character in the game
