We are building a new local-first version of FacileThings, a personal productivity web & mobile application based on the Getting Things Done methodology (GTD). It will be a super-fast, reactive, and responsive application that allows you to work offline. #buildinpublic #localfirst #GTD

spent a couple of days setting up the @powersync.com service (self-hosted) in a React app with a PostgreSQL database backend. Not straightforward, but THIS IS FAST! #localfirst

I’m on a week-long vacation, and I’m trying to disconnect and devote myself to inactivity and a contemplative life. It’s harder than it looks.

This isn’t just about a woman’s career path in the tech sector. It’s about the lives of women in general. I feel deeply ashamed to be a man.

I gave a talk at EMF titled "Men in Tech #YesAllMen", in which I told my experience of being a woman in tech. I was afraid to publish it in case it affected my current or future employment. With all the current news I would like to add my 2¢. So here is the recording: youtu.be/WXL6K1lhvt0?...

This is Pele, my new rendering library for diagrams and charts, compatible with the latest Mermaid syntax. - 100-500× faster than mermaid.js - 6× smaller bundle - No dependencies - Easy to theme - Responsive to device width - Open source (MIT) Try it at pele.run

Spent the weekend adding DCR and CIMD support to our MCP server, to remove friction. It’s been hard, even with the help of Claude

love the Apple Container machine concept. You can create a Linux machine that shares the MacOs file system, like Toolbox or Distrobox in Linux distros

There are people who are reluctant to give any personal information to an LLM, and others who would go so far as to give it their bank password.

Just fixed a few issues in the MCP server (dropping unused connections to free memory, raising idle timeout) and added support to other tools (Gemini CLI, Hermes). One very productive hour!

MCP server deployed! Connect #Claude to #FacileThings and manage your #GTD system with natural language: captures, queries and projects in a conversation.

Regardless of the model used, Claude Code has greatly improved its workflow. It now creates its own temporary code to verify the validity of changes, benchmarks, convergence tests, and so on. I still do it, but reviewing the code is becoming increasingly unnecessary.

And the women's world cup And the men's under-19 Euros And the women's under-20 world cup. Passing a lot works...

Spain, now holders of the European, Olympic and World titles. Prodigious.

The server migration has gone quite well. I expect a quiet day monitoring metrics 🤞 And a crazy night with the World Cup final!

Wait, you… use libraries? Code that other people wrote for you? You just… download it? Do you even read the code? Do you not care about the craft, the knowledge that comes from putting in the work yourself? Aren’t you afraid your skills will atrophy?

The migration is very easy, at the compose.yml file level. Although with Docker Swarm, Ofelia has the problem of not finding the worker container when a new version of the app is deployed. We solved this with a script that cron runs every 5 minutes, restarting Ofelia if the worker ID has changed.
