I've published `temporal-polyfill-lite` v1.0.0, the first stable release with few bug fixes and changes. The most important thing: the `global` entry point no longer overwrites existing Temporal implementation by default. github.com/fabon-f/temp...

I've published a new blog post about `gregory` and `iso8601` calendars in ECMAScript (a translation of an article I wrote in Japanese 2 months ago). dnevnik.fabon.info/posts/2026/0...
I wrote an article about difference between `iso8601` and `gregory` calendars in ECMAScript (in Japanese). I'm planning to translate it into English someday.
github.com/WebKit/WebKi... WebKit / Safari is closing the last gap between the spec and the implementation of Temporal. They were struggling with discrepancies in calendrical calculations of ICU across platforms and versions, but it seems they have resolved all issues. Very good news.

Changing How We Develop Ladybird - Ladybird ladybird.org/posts/changi... It's a very confusing statement. They mentioned AI, but if it the reason, the solution would be AI policy or something similar. Actually they states that "Whether code was typed by hand is beside the point."
www.youtube.com/@unicode/vid... Recently I knew that Unicode Consortium uploads many interesting videos. It is a goldmine for language geeks.

Lately I've found myself repeating the same explanations to different people about how Node.js and V8 build/test/stay in sync with each other. To reduce the parroting, here's a blog post about the workflows, challenges I see, and some hands-on tips joyeecheung.github.io/blog/2026/05...

Temporal is finally here, "8 yrs, 11 mos" in the making! Congrats @ptomato.name and and the champions! Humbled to be invited to the @tc39.es meeting where it moved to Stage 4. During my work on temporal-polyfill, I collaborated with the champions to improve datetime arithmetics and duration rounding
