Had a real tough time with LLMs installing defunct FullCalendar v6 plugins alongside v7, erroring, then downgrading all to v6 (bad! I want ppl on v7!). Solutions:

โ€ข DeepSeek V4.1 Flash - Nudged by hints in pkgs' READMEs and package.json โ€ข Sonnet 5.5 - A deliberate TS type error whose message says how to fix it โ€ข Opus 5.5 - No nudging necessary. Installed v7 fine as-is. โ€ข Sol 6.1 - Installed v6 almost every time, could not be nudged :(

I'd say we're 75% fine, but I'll still mention in docs that explicit prompting about v7 is recommended.

Some new ๐Ÿ‘ new ๐Ÿ‘ new ๐Ÿ‘ stuff for FullCalendar I'm very proud of! And more coming this quarter. And finally a @fullcalendar.io Bluesky handle for posting more in-depth release updates.

New look, new release, (new Bluesky handle)

Btw, this is what was blocking FullCalendar v7, available now ๐ŸŽ‰. More info to come...

temporal-polyfill ๐Ÿ•’ 1.0 is out! Smaller and with a tree-shakeable API that can be codemodded away. Great for component lib authors: tiny footprint now, zero footprint later, and shared internals with the host app's polyfill (if they choose to install it).

Also in 1.0: compliant with the latest Temporal spec, plus the everyday helpers it omits โ€” startOfMonth, diffDays, roundToWeek โ€” both in the tree-shakeable API and a companion temporal-utils package. Learn how it all fits together: github.com/fullcalendar...

Temporal is finally here, "8 yrs, 11 mos" in the making! Congrats @ptomato.name and and the champions! Humbled to be invited to the @tc39.es meeting where it moved to Stage 4. During my work on temporal-polyfill, I collaborated with the champions to improve datetime arithmetics and duration rounding

ECMAScript Euphoria! ๐ŸŽ‰ We don't always post when a single proposal advances, but when we do, it's Temporal -> Stage 4. Just days shy of 9 years from Stage 1, a herculean effort on the part of many champions, delegates, invited experts, and contributors, past and present. Thank you all! ๐Ÿ™Œ

temporal-polyfill just passed 1m weekly downloads on NPM! ๐ŸŽ‰ We're due for a new release, will queue one up this week.

You are up to date.
