It's funny how many of these use their AI disclosures to try to downplay their use of generative AI, because they *know* it's bad and people don't like it.
Steam hosted an "Ai Gaming Fest", a free block / ignore list. We've updated our mega spreadsheet too
Thread of the games with NO disclosures🧵 included!

gacha game where the characters you collect are based on plant species, and instead of a friends list you have a fronds list
that is the extent of the thought
The new Ghost in the Shell is fun. Very pretty visually and I like the vibe. The in-episode music is good.
The titles/credits songs are...not as good as SAC. And I think the EN subs were written by someone who didn't actually understand what they're translating - some very nonsensical phrasing.
Super awesome that there are CEOs and politicians hanging out in literally lethal heatwaves and going "yeah this is fine, in fact we should make it even hotter"
Preparing my PC for upcoming switch to Linux. Remarkable how much arcane bullshit I've installed over the years. Trying to figure out what I still want/need, and what can be converted to Linux, is an adventure
Sega confirms and responds to generative AI content in the new Crazy Taxi. "Generative AI was used to support our teams during the development of background assets for Crazy Taxi: World Tour," Sega says. gameinformer.com/2026/06/07/s...
A few months ago I was looking at a new laptop to replace my current one, which is gradually decaying. At the time, about £700, but I decided to hold off as it's a big expense and the current one is still...functional.
Now the same model and spec is over £1000. Fuck me. I can't wait for the AI bubble to burst. Literally only downsides for consumers in every area no matter what they say.
Buying a stone carving kit so that when the bombs fall I can write "fuck capitalism" on my own gravestone while I wait for the radiation poisoning to kill me
Update: too poor to buy stone carving kit, will be forced to use the edge of an EMP'd RTX 6090 recovered from the wreck of a Facebook data harvesting drone
To be fair, Urban played the role so well from having studied Kelly's portrayal deeply. Which goes to prove the old adage:
Deforestation leads to Urbanization
@captkarnstein.bsky.social sorry to report, that "photo of Jupiter" you reposted a little while ago is not real. It's probably based on some other photos NASA released from Juno last year, but that specific image was not from NASA and is almost certainly AI-generated.
Another reason to get off Adobe if you can. I'm glad I did - there are free or much cheaper single-purchase alternatives without embedded genAI. Workflow inertia is intimidating to break out of but it was worth it.
Got an email from Adobe saying that they were nearly doubling the cost of my creative cloud subscriptions and adding a bunch of Gen AI dogshit I didn't ask for!
If you don't want to get charged you have to log in and downgrade to a "standard" plan that's just the fuckin apps.
I'm just so angry about this. Not only that it happened, but also that it was entirely unnecessary, and that the people who did it are probably reading this article too and not feeling a moment of shame. www.theguardian.com/global-devel...
This is a devastating read and I'm not even close to being involved. If you were actually responsible for this, and you are not rendered speechless by remorse, you are inhumanly evil. And there they go, getting on TV and Twitter to shout even louder about how righteous they are.
I know it's literally impossible, but I wish there was a mode switch on the internet to only view posts from people willing to have a thoughtful and in-depth discussion
This kind of sounds like one of those "why won't you debate me about whether people deserve human rights" whines, but to be clear: I don't mean that.
I mean any ordinary, everyday, low-stakes topic. Just having a reasoned conversation.
Some days I'm just so tired of trying to talk to people who won't read a message properly before responding to it, or who can only post in memes or LLM-regurgitated factoids.
Incredible levels of corpo-speak achieved in Ubisoft's latest mass firing announcement: the already-weaselly term "downsizing" has been replaced with "rightsizing"
It's truly wild that there are people who say this shit and still consider themselves to be honest, sincere, and decent

I'm sure Venezuela will be better off without Maduro; the man's no good. But this kind of attack is illegal, and for good reason. It must not be legitimised because there are consequences far beyond the immediate future of Venezuela.
It's time for the article you've all hopefully been waiting for. Enjoy my dive into a part of the aviation industry that respectable experts ignore! admiralcloudberg.medium.com/dark-network...
You'd think that after 13 years of development, Star Citizen would've at least solved basic engine issues like "you regularly just fall straight through the floor for no goddamn reason, and can't recover unless you log out, which blanks anything you were currently doing"
Like I know most of their planned ideas are wildly unrealistic, I wasn't expecting it to be finished, but c'mon. If you haven't got the simple principle of "walking around" sorted, what the fuck have you even been doing?
Almost equally wild is the number of people who insist that this is fine because "it's an alpha" as if a) being in alpha after 13 years is fine and b) that's a reasonable excuse when you're selling it like a real game
For comparison, every robotic mission NASA has ever sent in its history, from the dawn of the Space Age 65 years ago to today, from Mercury to Pluto and beyond, has cost less than $40B.
I know which one has done more for humankind and which one should be dismantled.
Mark Zuckerberg’s gamble on the ‘Metaverse’ has cost Meta more than $77B
The company now plans to cut spending on it and shift focus to AI wearables instead
