How is it that another credible rape allegation and multiple assertions of further wrongdoing emerge about the president the week before an election and no one were to care? New concessions to the Russians? More revelations about his family Russia ties? About Kushner Trump corruption? How? How? How?

@patrickhealynyt.bsky.social Your newspaper garners no trust when it continues to protect the president and sanewash his administration. This is despicable. The New York Times has devolved into nothing more than access journalism.

Khashoggi's Ghost@urocklive1.bsky.social

What the media does and doesn't report is a choice, as is how they frame it, and they seem to have chosen a side. But they act highly offended when we point that out.

@patrickhealynyt.bsky.social Not reporting the word rape in a story about a report concerning rape allegations is journalistic malpractice. Shame on the NYT for failing us yet again by protecting the already adjudicated rapist Donald Trump.

Marisa Kabas@marisakabas.bsky.social

I emailed Patrick Healy, assistant managing editor for standards and trust at NYT, to ask why their story about a House report with new details of rape allegations against the President of the United States included neither those details, nor a single use of the word "rape." archive.is/1s9AM

It’s peak Trumpism when Republicans blow up a school full of Iranian Muslim girls and then call an American politician a terrorist because he’s Muslim.

This supercut is likely to make Trump VERY upset. The difference between Trump and Obama is on full display, and the contrast is absolutely devastating. Watch until the end...

If Trump succeeds in overthrowing our democracy, what will people in mainstream media say about their role in it? You’d want them to be able to say: “We did our best to warn the public.” But so far, all they could say would be: “We bent over backwards to be fair to the fascists.”

NOBODY feels fear as acutely as a malignant narcissist facing an unraveling of their false and fraudulent constructs. They suffocate without their grandiosity. Diminishment. Paranoia. Enfeeblement. Mortality. He's in a narcissistic nightmare now.

That Vivek Ramaswamy ad drives home the point that Republican politicians think rape – even the rape of children – is no big deal. That disgusting ad is fully consistent with Republicans covering up the Epstein files.

Seems like he's talking about a false flag operation that will likely target Democrats, blue states, and/or cities, in order to provide a way for him to exploit the elections probably through the imposition of Martial Law. He's broadcasting his intention to harm people in order to stay in power.

Trump: "A possible threat, which could happen -- I hope you won't get angry if I treat them very very rough, because that's what's gonna happen. They're not gonna destroy our country."

In 2024, Heritage Foundation chief Kevin Roberts made a classic fascist threat: “We are in the process of the 2nd American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.” Then Trump took over, unleashing ICE to execute people in the streets. Republicans rule through violence.

Maybe you saw Trump's so desperate he's begging Putin for diesel. But listen to this: At the very same time, the White House is brokering the sale of billions in Russian energy assets to people who fund the Trump family and the Trump campaign.

"And then the nurse puts a spoon in the applesauce and brings it up -- and here's what confuses most people -- she says it's an airplane. An airplane! And she tells you to open up the hangar, but what they don't tell you is your mouth is the hangar. But I knew! And I opened my mouth like a big boy!"

Trump's inability to think about anything except his own self-interest and aggrandizement is extremely dangerous. He is destabilizing world order and fulfilling Putin's agenda. Republicans could stop this. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

Timothy Snyder@timothysnyder.bsky.social

Trump just claimed the United States had done “a lot” for Ukraine, but that Ukraine has done “nothing” for the United States. This is unjust in the highest degree. And not just untrue in the normal sense — it is a big lie, designed to bring about horror and chaos. snyder.substack.com/p/trumps-big...

The Republicans’ betrayal of Ukraine will leave a permanent stain on American history. It’s not just Trump — it’s the entire Republican Party bowing down to Putin. They could stop this if they wanted to.

You know, Elon, if you just paid your taxes, we could give those kids food and healthcare, things far more valuable than stock in a government-welfare-dependent company that is bound to go bankrupt eventually.

How far we've fallen. Corruption, cruelty, weaponization of government, abdication of Congress by Republicans, rogue Supreme Court, committing international war crimes, and superpower suicide. Destruction of the world order and rule of law. Good grief we've got a lot of work to do. Please vote.

Hillary Rodham Clinton@hillaryclinton.bsky.social

Ten years ago today. In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine...

I honestly don’t know much about El-Sayed, but this is a perfect answer from him. It’s also hilarious that Tommy used to work for Josh Hawley and was paid 250k for influencer marketing AGAINST El-Sayed. They might want to get a refund. What a spectacular backfire. The walk of shame at the end. 🤣

Trump is a sadistic sociopath and a blight on humanity. He, every Republican sycophant, and Musk are a direct threat to the stability of world order. He is weak, insecure, and extremely dangerous.
