The poor in this country have been so totally screwed that many of them voted for trump because he said he would change things. Sure, some are racist pigs, but many are simply looking for a way out. If we offer them a better choice then we could capture them to our side. Let's not shame them.

My 9/11 story is small. We live on the west coast, so nothing direct, but I went to work for a few hours, then went to the Red Cross to donate blood. The waiting area was packed. They were maxed out for donations. I grabbed a broom and swept the floor because I needed to do SOMETHING.
