If Apple can change the icon of Apple Music and the key color for the app, could they also maybe add a f**king setting for the tab bar not to shrink itself away whenever you scroll? Genuinely the biggest annoyance in all of iOS 26/27 for me.

On September 23, 2026, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas entered final judgment in Texas v. Kennedy, vacating key community integration provisions in the Department of Health and Human Services’ 2024 regulations implementing Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

The AGT finale result was so predictable they cut the waiting time for Terry to announce the winner in half from last year. Not that I'm mad about it - Nene totally deserved to win!

I am very excited to be presenting at ACES VCON26 later this month!

There’s so much cartoon logic in Coyote v. Acme, yet the most believable thing is that a 94 year old gun nut like Elmer Fudd is in the U.S. Senate.

Today is September 1st, which means we are exactly one month away from National #Disability Employment Awareness Month! #Disabled people have held every role imaginable, from activists to business owners, artists to educators, carers to corporate executives, and even President of the United States.

Saw Coyote Vs. Acme and I have to say, my expectations were high and the film exceeded them. After walking out, I genuinely wasn't sure if I liked it or Toy Story 5 better. The fact that it's even a question is incredible to me.

A new report from the USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative found that #disability representation reached a record 2.8% of speaking characters in 2025’s 100 highest-grossing films. However, this remains far below the 28.7% of U.S. adults who identify as having a disability.

Am I crazy to think the tagline is a clear clue that the new Apple Home stuff will be part of this event? I think the HomePad (or whatever they call the touchscreen home hub) fits perfectly with this tagline.

Apple Event Announced for September 9: 'Surprise and Shine'

macrumors.comApple Event Announced for September 9: 'Surprise and Shine'Apple plans to hold its annual iPhone-centric event on Wednesday, September 9 at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, with select members of the media invited to attend. The September 2026 iPhone event will see Apple announce the iPhone 18 Pro, the ‌iPhone 18 Pro‌ Max, and the foldable iPhone, which could be called the iPhone Ultra. There won't be an iPhone 18 this year because Apple is waiting until spring 2027 to launch the more affordable models. All three new iPhones will use Apple's latest A20 Pro chip built on a 2nm process for speed and efficiency improvements. The ‌iPhone 18 Pro‌ models could get an upgraded variable aperture rear camera, but will otherwise be similar to the iPhone 17 Pro models. We are expecting price increases due to ongoing memory shortages. The foldable iPhone will be Apple's first new form factor since the launch of the 2017 iPhone X. It will have a book-like design, and it will be around 5.5 inches when closed and 7.6 inches when open. It is wider than it is tall, and will be similar to using an iPad when unfolded. Since the foldable iPhone is so thin, there are compromises, and it will use Touch ID instead of Face ID and it won't have a telephoto camera. Apple is also going to introduce the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, plus there's a possibility we'll see new smart home devices, including the long-rumored home hub, a new Apple TV 4K, and an updated HomePod mini. Along with new hardware, Apple will give us launch dates for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate, and other upcoming software updates. Apple plans to stream the fall event live on its website, on YouTube, and through the ‌Apple TV‌ app. For those unable to watch, MacRumors will be providing full event coverage on MacRumors.com and the MacRumorsLive Twitter account.Tags: Apple Event, September 2026 Apple Event This article, "Apple Event Announced for September 9: 'Surprise and Shine'" first appeared on MacRumors.com Discuss this article in our forums

When #disability is not treated as a reality but as a claim that must be verified, it is not just frustrating and inconvenient – it is dehumanizing, and it changes how #disabled people are valued in society. Image Description: A person holding a pen about to sign their name on a document.

Myth: Vaccines cause autism. Fact: The scientific and medical consensus is that vaccines do not cause autism. Everyone can make health care decisions that are right for them. If one chooses to be vaccinated, there’s no reason to fear that autism will be a possible result.

X Factor Celebrity was the worst season of any competition show I've ever watched and made it so much easier for me to swallow the end of what used to be my favorite competition show. With Mark Burnett at the helm, I hope The Voice Celebrity meets the same fate:

BREAKING: the clock struck midnight and our bipartisan housing bill is now law. Trump refused to sign it, but he couldn't stop it. This law is GROUNDBREAKING. It will build more housing, bring down costs, and for the first time, stop private equity from buying up homes.
