A few people have been writing in saying they are finding the games too easy. I checked the stats, and the recent games are no easier than games from say 100 days ago. What do we think about a weekly 25x25ish game, released on Mondays for those who want an extra challenge?

We've had a few people write in not liking the bonus round colors. You can now use your regular theme for bonus rounds. Simply click 'Use my theme' once in a bonus round.

Apologies for the short hiatus everyone, life just happens! A couple of announcements 👇

CREATE LEVELS IS BACK!! You can now create community levels again. I have added a moderation layer which should help.

SYNC YOUR STATS In the 'Past Puzzles' section (from the menu), there is a button to 'Sync Stats'. This will bring your data to another device. I HIGHLY recommend doing this whether you play on another device or not. It will be a way to restore your stats if you ever accidentally clear your cookies

I messed up with the ads, and a very annoying video ad was covering content on mobile, fixing now.

Seem to be getting a few reports of users going to the new bonus round, but seeing the Lovebirds bonus round, but when submitting, its submitting to the new bonus round.

I believe it is a caching issue. When navigating to the new round, you should see the image above for Sunday's game. If you don't try refreshing/closing the browser and reopening. DO NOT clear cookies!! (They hold game stats/streaks like all daily games)

Hey everyone! You may have noticed some ads showing in the game recently. A lot of hard work has gone into creating the game and continuing to add new content. People have been incredibly generous with Ko-fi donations, but to keep the game growing, ads have unfortunately become necessary.

Which bonus round did you see for 26th March? I am getting a few reports of the new 'costly walls' bonus round not working for a few people. The game, sometimes seems to load in 'lovebirds' bonus round, without the unicorn... and has incorrect scoring. Investigating now

New bonus round COSTLY WALLS Same game, however now walls cost 6 points to place. Sometimes building smarter is better than wider.

Taking ideas for more bonus rounds, no idea too crazy

Introducing our first bonus round: LOVEBIRDS A unicorn has joined the horse. Build a pen that encloses both the horse and the unicorn so they can be together. Bonus rounds are intentionally more difficult than the main round.

If you have an idea for different bonus rounds, send them through!

Update on the check button So a ton of votes came in, and the feedback form is full of what people want and don't want. Quite crazy how divided that community is!

There would then be two score distributions, one for users on 'normal' mode, and the other for easy mode.

There definitely is not one perfect solution to this, however I think this is the best way to cover most people.

I think the best way forward is to have an 'Easy mode' you toggle on in settings. In easy mode, you can use the check button to see how close you are to the optimal score - that way you can keep guessing until you're happy with your score.
