Elena Strobl

Hi, I'm Elena and I am an illustrator. I hope you'll like my art. This illustration is inspired by the Cologne legend of Heinzelmännchen. Little Gnomes that do all the work for you while you sleep. #illustration #cologne

3 years of my life on one little board. I can't believe they are over. I am so lucky to have spent them with the best and most supportive people. #graduation #artshow #art

Thank you I'm Elen and I draw illustrations with animals :)

We used the few sunny days to go and explore the Welsh coastline, and naturally, I had to do a tiny watercolour study (with a tiny bit of gouache) #art #beach

I took a break from botanical illustration studies and painted this whimsy little watercolour house.

Even more watercolour studies! I am currently really enjoying just making little studies. #watercolour #art

🐈‍⬛🤍.

Artist propaganda I’m not falling for (and you shouldn’t either):

Speed-Painting Timelapse - Pride & Prejudice Study 🎨 Don’t usually post process videos so this is fun 🙂 Done on Procreate Pocket for iPhone14

What do you guys prefer, a photo of a painting or a high-quality scan? I always feel like a photo feels more personal, but the scan shows the work in a higher quality.

The thing I love the most about watercolour: I can't easily erase mistakes, and so I have to let go of my perfectionism. The thing I hate the most about watercolour: I can't easily erase mistakes, and so I have to let go of my perfectionism. There is no pleasing me.

easy and helpful! i often find myself going to people’s accounts mid-reply to be sure, so it’s very handy when they’ve already done this. you just have to go subscribe, then like the post with the pronouns you want (like choosing a role on discord) and it looks like this!!

A little watercolour study of a rose. #watercolour #art #rose

Last year I had the opportunity to illustrate this book reading event. It was so lovely and taught children about why diversity matters. #illustration #art

I'm not saying that I became obsessed with drawing dogs as classical paintings over the last few months, but here we are. #illustrations #art #dogs #FridaKahlo

I wanted to share my painting and swatches from last Sunday's video, featuring the beautiful professional watercolor paints made by Elena at artmaterials.ca! The colors are so pretty and they were a joy to paint with! 🎨🧡 #watercolor #cat

@soundoftheforest.bsky.social i wanted to show you some of my insect embroidery! (apologies if they’re not 100% anatomically correct- i’m trying to get better about that) #art #insects #entomology #embroidery

If someone quote-posts you in a way you don't like, just click on the 3 dots at the bottom right & select "Detach quote." Automatically removes my original post from their quote-post. More: debbieohi.link/detach-quote... I just did this for a troll, then blocked them. #BlueSkyRocks

:D really like this gradient technique + the monochrome background #sketchbook

This month already feels like a year.

Yup. Microsoft automatically switched me to the $99.99/year version with Spicy Autocomplete. You have to go all the way through "cancel subscription" to be presented these options and get the $69.99/year one you actually chose.

Hi, everyone! I’m new to BlueSky! I’m an illustrator, designer, and muralist based in Atlanta. My work focuses on storytelling through portraiture, color, and texture. Bonus points when what I do involves or positively impacts community! Let’s keep the #art community going! #illustration #portraits

Welcome newcomers! Alt Text is a big deal here on Bluesky. It helps people with visual issues and in other situations as well. Here's a useful thread on how to do it, including some examples.

I've never made a starter pack because I'm terrified of forgetting someone. And I probably did. But here ya go, I tried my best! Several of these accounts are new but I know them from the other place and want to help them get established here. go.bsky.app/FHuvfX3

Self-portrait!! Looking at myself for as long as I have is rewiring my brain!!! . . . . #selfportrait #illustration #illustrationartists #realism #digitalart #digitalpainting
