Some of us love very deeply and intensely, yet have troubles expressing it verbally: like anxiety attack level. I am one of those people. It sucks. You'd think that by age 61, I'd have figured out how to get past that...and yet- here I am... I'll get past this.

Ziggy eats with us at every meal. He has learned how to “put in an order” for more crunchies, 😆🥰 and I never ever get tired of his cuteness and persistence.❤️

And I just released another piano work on the new Subvert platform. The platform still feels very "beginning" but it has so much potential, I have high hopes it will out-shine the corpo-slime in the future. Same pic, diff piece. #piano #musicsky #pianoimprovisation www.subvert.fm/effin_izzy/t...

Bluesky suspended my account for 3 days because I mentioned that treason has a punishment that is "permanent" and I was referring to the orange-shit-stain-greed-goblin-criminal. Neither Threads nor Dorkbook took those posts down (exact same post), nor did they "punish" me.

During that time, I have discovered how much better Threads has become (I hate to say it). I've reached a lot more folks within just a few days there than I have on Bluesky in months. As a musician, this is an unfortunate necessity.

I'm really just disappointed in Bluesky for its lack of editing, and features, and reach, now that it has "grown up" I see no reason why we should be letting that slide anymore. 🤷‍♂️ Questioning the worth of this "alternative" platform now...

this experience makes me wonder about Bluesky being too overly precious and intolerant as a social platform. It stops discussion, and has judgement as punishment, where there is no recourse.

6 years ago, I created the effin_izzy account on Twitch, and it has been a wonderful ride ever since. A worldwide audience, lovely folks that I've played for, chatted with, became friends with, and more. I'm truly thankful for this-

The first one was last Friday night, and part 2 was Sunday night- played some truly epic albums that have shaped me over time. These Rekked streams are archived for Mods and Subscribers (as Twitch does not record dj streams, understandably). The last 2 will soon be available. Thank you❤️

The academic year is off to a good start. Still a bit shell-shocked how time is flying faster and faster. Getting ready for a live performance soundtrack to the 1922 Nosferatu in New Haven, CT on Oct 30th (2 shows) with my Sub-Verse compatriots. It will be intense. I promise you. #nosferatu
