This might be possibly be the saddest celebrity death of the year to me after Tim Curry. I am very fortunate to have him be a follower of mine on Twitter for a few years now and loved his versions of Bugs, Daffy and Marvin in particular. Thank you Eric for all of the laughs and love

Remember when King Neptune AI slopped his hundreds of awful burgers in seconds and SpongeBob painstakingly made one delicious burger by hand

I'm still hung up on the idea that wizards just shat themselves in that world. Like how did Harry react to that knowledge when he learned about it?

anyone who is still an enthusiastic harry potter fan in 2026 deserves to be publicly shamed & bullied

Probably the coolest thing he's done next to being a potential Bomberman fan

I was only just saying near the start of the year how much more relevant Network feels to the present day than when it originally released 50 years ago. And now here we are - public executions as a media event, much like the end of the film. Where do we even go from here?

This OneyPlays stuff is really starting to stink to me. -The "every allegation getting deleted/removed at once" stuff, I mean. HIs fans are not helping his case either

You can and likely will become disabled. Every single person you love can and likely will become disabled. It can happen at any time: car wreck, step off the curb wrong, body stops handling flu well. You should care about how disabled people are treated. Now.

disability rights (or the lack of them) will be your rights one day. and yes, I say this to absolutely scare you into thinking about disability. What rights will you want? Think about that.

Make stuff. For the love of all that there is, please just keep making stuff! Doesn't matter if it's bad, good etc. Just *keep* making stuff.

Good to have a reminder every once in a while. It's easy to do, and the problem is likely to get worse. So make it a habit.

Some people wonder why I don't trust the British police. Pensioners protesting against genocide? They send in the SWAT team. Crowds protesting against racism and police violence? They deploy the cavalry division to run them down. Masked neo-nazis sieze a major industrial port? Eh, no harm, no foul

Maybe you think you are invulnerable to this (you are not), but the people who stay in Twitter because you are still sharing there are definitely being dragged to the right. I have so many mutuals who are still posting regularly there, and it's so disheartening to see. Please stop.

Evidence is already accruing that spending time on Twitter pulls ppl to the right, bc the algorithm feeds you horrible stuff. And again: academics are likely more vulnerable, bc they convince themselves they are less.

Walten Files V was extremely good, holy shit. Martin and his entire team cooked so hard on this Who knew we'd be getting a Walten Files movie this year alongside all the other Indie horror? The bangers just keep on coming!

I wouldn't say they describe me but it is wild to know that the terms: - Amber alert - BSOD - Emoji - friends with benefits and fursona all originated from the same year. Language is wild, damn

Watching Wall-E again now, decades after it was made, is interesting. It's interesting to see what they got right about where capitalism and the human race were going. It's even more interesting to see it have such a hopeful ending in spite of the bleak scenario it puts forth.

Capitalism is a hellish entity that rots away at our very being. It destroys what it means to be human. And yet, even when they seem completely unrecognisable, nothing can snuff out that inherent kindness that exists in everyone. We can always bounce back. It's a good message, one we need rn tbh

You know Retrospectively, I am genuinely enjoying getting through Rayman. It's a beautiful game with a lovely soundtrack and a real feeling of satisfaction when you beat a level. ...It just also happens to feel like the French getting revenge on us for the British empire, that's all. Good game.

I'm gonna have to write down a list of things to do in each chapter for a full Deltarune playthrough at some point, each chapter seems to get more weird and wonderful little things for us to find and experience. (Just beat the secret boss in Chapter 5, that was great and very unexpected lmao)

A plea to devs participating in Next Fest, please delay taking those demos down for a few days so we may catch up a little 😔 Thank you for your consideration
