Did you know the Trump 2026 budget proposal includes a 70% reduction in funding for K-12 education programs that includes school safety grants? Asking for those who care about the safety of schoolchildren but don't give a shit about ballrooms for those already protected by armies of security agents

Trump: I'm going to destroy an entire civilization. We're going to keep killing people in boats. Senator Kelly should be executed. ICE protesters are domestic terrorists. Immigrants are vermin. Raskin: Donald Trump is bad for this country. Bash: Do you regret your heated rhetoric, Rep. Raskin?

BASH: You and your fellow Democrats have used some heated rhetoric against the president. Do you think twice about that when something like that happens? RASKIN: What rhetoric do you have in mind? BASH: That he's terrible for this country and so on and so forth

Here they are: our two top Iran negotiators. No diplomatic experience. In way over their head. Both with massive financial conflicts of interest, their fortunes tied to the Middle East dictators that make them rich. What a disaster.

To make matters worse, the Republicans who put forward this toxic mining operation included NO PROVISION TO REQUIRE TWIN METALS TO NOT SELL THE PROCESSED ORE TO CHINA!! Antagofastsa mining currently sells all extracted ore to China. They have no US smelters. #AmericaLast #GOPBetrayedAmerica

Hey Canadians, this is a huge issue. This mine will pump out millions of gallons of sulphuric acid that will flow into Quetico Park, Rainy River, right up to Lake Winnipeg. It's 40km from the border. It could be Sudbury all over again for Canadian lakes. And our governments are doing nothing. read:

Sanders: The American people do not want this country to be an authoritarian society or an oligarchy. We have our differences, that’s what democracy is about—we argue it out. We don’t throw people who disagree in jail. We don’t intimidate the media. We don’t send ICE agents to shoot people.

U.S. consumers and businesses footed 95 percent of the cost of Trump’s tariffs between January and August of last year.

DHS was established under a bad law, The Patriot Act. Whatever utility the agency may have once had has long since expired. DHS funding should be allowed to expire, and the agency should be abolished, ICE along with it. And Gnome can go back to puppy killing, instead of waging war on Americans

Robert Redford playing a gentle incarnation of death, coming for a frightened old woman in The Twilight Zone episode "Nothing in the Dark" (1962). An extraordinary performance then, terribly bittersweet today

I’m becoming more and more convinced that the US will not survive four years of trump and his gang of incompetents. Another 18 months seems like a stretch. And even if there’s an election and maga loses big, what happens during the lame duck session? Extraordinary measures are needed, and soon.

Is there anyone in the Ole Yam Tits regime who could be considered to possess the skills and experience required for their position? Certainly not OYT himself, nor Shady Vance, Kegbreath, Little Marco Puta, RFKJr, Gnome, Homan, Miller, Duffy, Zeldin, McMahon, Gabbard, Ratcliffe, Wiles. Anyone??

Kristi Noem should resign immediately or be fired, and the FBI agent and whoever else perpetrated the disgraceful treatment of Senator Alex Padilla should be fired. Senator Padilla is the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship and Border Safety!

Sen. Alex Padilla, who was just forcibly removed from a DHS press conference, is the ranking member of Judiciary’s subcommittee on immigration, citizenship, and border safety, which has “oversight of federal agencies with citizenship, asylum, refugee, and immigration enforcement responsibilities.”
