As a long time Looney Tunes fan, the news of Eric Bauza's passing still hurts for me to bear. May this tribute article be a parting farewell to the man who brought Bugs, Daffy, Porky and more newfound success and glory. medium.com/@elicopperma...

Was reminded of this amazing memory; We were all walking back from a group photo in front of the 'Looney Tunes Cartoons' billboard on the WB lot, saw a tour tram and I told the guys "You HAVE to do this, you're all here, when are you ever gonna get a chance like this?" and it made that tour's day!

Unbelievable loss. An amazing talent, and just a really, really good person. www.instagram.com/p/De8RFy4pyov/

To another studio when they hit it out of the park. This whole mindset of "Us vs them" is ridiculous and the sooner it dies off the better.

As of this month, The Looney Tunes Show has turned 15 years old. Speaking as a longtime Looney Tunes fan, I think it’s time to look back on the series for what it is and acknowledge its strengths in the modern age. medium.com/@elicopperma...

Found this old drawing I made in college. I was making sketches of a little girl who had a skeleton for a father and a human for a mother. I sadly don’t remember the girl’s name but these old school doodles take me way back (2018).

The late great Bob McKnight's artwork is at risk of being seized and destroyed if something isn't done about it. His dearest friend and mentee Rob Griggs has set up a GoFundMe to help save his property, including his extensive art archives. Bob LOVED animation and it's history, help preserve it!

I’ve received word that beloved animation director Don Bluth’s longtime creative partner Gary Goldman is currently battling dementia. Please consider sharing his family’s GoFundMe campaign if you can, even if you can’t chip in. www.gofundme.com/f/support-ga...

I recently had the pleasure to interview my good friend Jennifer Marie Cella on her new short film, SunKissed Sapphics. Give the article a read if you're curious to learn more about Jenni's work and life as an autistic trans woman making animated films in today's climate. medium.com/@elicopperma...

My dear friend Jenni Cella made this phenomenal animated film over the course of a few months and it's arguably the best and most personal work she's made yet. Give it a watch if you please. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJp1...

“Golden” winning the Oscar means that a revival/renaissance of the ‘animated movie musical’ is absolutely on the way and I couldn’t be happier. Speaking of which, me and @ecopper.bsky.social wrote an article about animation and movie musicals a few months ago, check it out!

Aka a shit ton of people cancelled their Nitro's (imagine paying for discord lmao) and it tanked their perceived value right before IPO If you cancelled your Nitro, proud of you, don't resubscribe. If you still have Nitro (why?), still cancel it.

PSA for Discord's new age verification! If you get hit by it and refuse to give them any ID or face scans as you should, here's a way to just... bypass it. Go to Settings - Family Centre and then just enter a date of birth that's 18+ It's really that simple. Give them nothing.

Good news to people concerned for Discord's updates. According to Discord's Twitter page, the platform's ID verification policies are not going to screw with your personal information after all. The following screen caps and link below should clarify what's going on. x.com/discord/stat...

After careful consideration, I’ve decided to leave TikTok for good. If people in power are going to stoop this low just to track others they see as a threat, then it’s not worth being on there anymore. I can’t speak for everyone, but I recommend y’all do the same. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Here's my list for 100 Movies more or less about growing up (some of the movies aren't good).

Joe Cappa's Haha, You Clowns is one of the most wholesome shows I've seen in recent years. In light of the series recently concluding its first season, I wanted to share my thoughts on what makes it worth watching, especially for men in need of good role models. medium.com/@elicopperma...

Pixar designed Toy Story to be printed on physical film. The Disney renaissance movies were the same. Today, it's hard to see them as they were meant to be seen. The versions on streaming and home media aren't quite the same films that ruled the '90s: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/the-toy-st...
