So, Bluesky seems nice so far. My only gripe at the moment is the order of the buttons for photos, gifs, etc. But that's more of a nitpick because of how used to things I get and how hard it is for me to adjust to changes. Having a dedicated video button is nice, though.

Been playing the new Castlevania game off and on since it released, and I just can't do it. The difficulty is off the scale, and I can't even beat the first goddamned boss and his BS whip attack and oversized attack hitboxes. It should not be like this. It's the FIRST DAMNED BOSS!! ...

For the record, I've played and competed most every Castlevania game in the series, Classic and MV, and have never encountered a difficulty level in one like this. ...

I'm aware of the available difficulty options, but to make this the default difficulty while practically hiding the option to make it easier is absurd. Anyway, game uninstalled. Rant over.

I hate my brain sometimes. I'm very routine-oriented, in that I have many routines I follow for various tasks. Today, when I got to work, I followed my usual steps for going in to start my shift: - Get out of my car. - Lock my car - Go inside and clock in. So far, so good. ...

I got out of my car, locked it, and proceeded to walk to the customer's house empty-handed. I quickly realized my mistake, went back, opened the hatch... And set off the alarm. After turning it off, I silently cursed myself for it, and then went on with my delivery. The right way. ...

Anyway, I just wanted to say, to anyone who's had similar experiences: I feel your pain, your annoyance, your frustration... And I sympathize 100%. Ok, vent over. And now back to your regularly scheduled feed.

On deliveries, when I arrive at the destination, the routine changes a bit: - Get out of my car. - Open the hatch - Get delivery bag - Lock my car - Make delivery. Unbeknownst to me, my brain was locked into the previous routine, so...

The semi-recent update to Teardown added a mod which, among other things, causes your character to ragdoll when you hit something hard enough. Yesterday, I realized the potential of that. You can now smash buildings WITH YOUR FACE. 😃🤣 Have I mentioned how much I love this game? #Teardown

Just moved recently and getting all of my stuff out of storage and in my room. Found these amongst my collection and thought I'd post it here. @bhaalspawn.bsky.social I thought you'd be interested in this. Not sure why, as you almost never mention it, but I figured why not. #Doom #PCGames

Finally, one of the prizes of my collection (at least, to me), three of the comics released by Nintendo in 1990. I'm including shots of the first couple of pages only, so as to hopefully avoid getting into too much trouble with the Big N.

I've seen many impressive collections featured here. I've wanted to do the same for so long but was unable to until now. My collection is small by comparison, but I'm still proud of it. The top half are my modern and handheld games, while the bins have my retro games.

For those of you that guessed correctly (all of you, no doubt) this is my copy of Quake, complete with box, disc, and instruction booklet. #Quake #PCGames

I was waking around a local Home Depot the other day when I spotted this. Not sure if it's computer generated, or just heavily modified, but I'm going with the first thing I thought of when I saw it. Everyone, meet A.I. Borland.

Tried several times in vain to post a silly reply to an equally silly post on Twitter, only to have it disappear each and every time. 😡🤬 It never ceases to irritate me whenever this happens.

Roku: Has themes based on Star Trek, with an image of a ship in the lower left corner. 🖖😃👍 Also Roku: Puts ads in the lower left corner of the screen. 🤦‍♂️

Looking at the new games listed in the Xbox store and I see this: www.xbox.com/en-US/games/... The description begins with "From the creators of Goldeneye and Timesplitters..." That doesn't exactly make me excited for the game. Rather the opposite. #Xbox #BeyondWords #Goldeneye #TimeSplitters

xbox.comBuy Beyond Words | XboxFrom the creators of GoldenEye & TimeSplitters comes Beyond Words the genre-defining fusion of roguelike strategy and word-crafting. Build powerful combos, unlock upgrades, and master a challenge where victory is spelled one letter at a time.

To clarify, I love both Goldeneye and TimeSplitters. It just that seeing two of the creators names attached to what is essentially a Scrabble Roguelike is underwhelming, at best.

Dear Roku, Would you kindly stop adding elements to my TV's home page and changing the background every time there's a new promotion? It's annoying. Thanks.

Sitting at a red light on the way to work when I realized that the driver in front of me had their phone in hand and was talking away. I couldn't help but laugh at the irony of the situation. Why was it ironic, you may ask yourself? Simple. The car they were driving was a Focus.

I just tried several times to reply to a post on X, and each time the post would just disappear instead of posting. Seriously, Musk? Are we doing this shit again? 😡

An interstellar creature, searching for nourishment, ends up fighting for its life against a swordsman, a princess, an inventor, a robot, a frog, a prehistoric warrior, and a magician.

The deluxe pack is BACK, for those not aware. I thought to myself, maybe I'll get one now. Maybe even with the first pull, since I spent the entire month last time trying. No such luck. Even after 12 straight attempts. The search goes on. #PokémonTCGP

Hey Roku, here's what I think of your stupid streaming buttons, and their repeated attempts to install apps I don't want after accidentally pressing those buttons for the hundredth time. Into the trash they go, where they belong. (Not trying to actually contact Roku here. I'm just venting)

As I'm leaving for work, I'm listening to some game music via Spotify. Bernard's Theme from Maniac Mansion comes on, and as I'm listening, a dump truck drives by. On the side is a sign. It says... "Bernard's" 😮 ... No pic because i was driving at the time, but I thought I'd share it anyway.

Saw a TV advert for the new Trainline app that had a disclaimer stating that as the results are AI generated they might not be correct. What’s the point of a train timetable app if you can’t trust it to show you correct information? It’s madness.
