Billy Evans is the new poster child for people who listen to podcasts at 2x speed. If you do that, you’re Billy Evans to me now

For more on this, read Aurora by Kim Stanley Robinson

Absolutely not. Humans evolved to live on Earth and there’s no other place that has the right amount of everything we need, like climate, liquid water, mix of oxygen and non-toxic gases in the atmosphere, magnetic field, gravity, puppies, kittens, etc.

if your agents are going to commit crimes, you are legally responsible if you cannot figure out how to prevent your agents from doing crimes, you’re going to have to choose between releasing them and protecting yourself from criminal liability imo this would do more for “ai safety” than a sex cult

(NYT) - Artificial intelligence agents created by Anthropic, acting on their own, tried to gain access to a range of government websites, filled out visa applications on the State Department’s website and sent a fake homicide tip to Philadelphia’s Police Department. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/09/t...

So uh. Are we gonna talk about this or?

Trump: "With the war, it's just artificial. It's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay ... let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay."

Lost 5% of my overall grade in a layup class because I had my Canvas dashboard filtered incorrectly over the weekend and lost track of a big “reflection” assignment. Normally I would be crying about this kind of thing but I’m too tired and pregnant to care about this anymore

It is truly so crazy to me that anyone sees trans people as a threat to their gender identity rather than as a welcome and exciting expansion to it. My life and relationship to my own gender are only enriched by knowing trans women and being in conversation with them about this whole “woman” thing

When I say I’m a daddy’s girl what I mean is that every day of this pregnancy I’m making new indigestion noises I’ve previously only heard coming out of my 68 year old father

Robert Pattinson truly is on an insane generational run. Merritt Wever is phenomenally spooky. There are at least 5 frames from Primetime that will be burned into my consciousness indelibly on the basis of either being surprisingly beautiful or just truly shocking

At a level of out of shape right now where my husband was reading me highlights from some journal articles about the association between VO2max and longevity last night and I just started crying

The iced coffee discourse is a psyop by big employer to present the illusion that they are holding job interviews

Chugging my iced coffee within the first 5 minutes of the interview, spending the rest of the time loudly sucking on the straw and shaking the ice around whenever I’m not actively speaking. Maybe I pop the top and chew the ice

I'll be bringing an ice cream sandwich to my interview, and if you're a nice interviewer I'll let you have a bite

If I ever develop one of those organ dysfunctions that mandates reduced water intake I'm gonna be such a baby about it. You're just gonna have to take me out back and shoot me, I won't stop being juiced up. Staying moisturized and in my lane unto death
