We are looking for a PhD student to join us in London next year! Are you interested in genetic screens? Host-pathogen interactions? Intestinal biology? Our lab applies curiosity driven research within medically relevant models of pathogenesis. Interested? Apply here: bit.ly/4icnsqM

Research scientist opening We have an open position in our group for a BSc/MSc level laboratory research scientist in our group. The successful candidate will be working with the Gr-ADI consortium on applying functional genomics assays to discovering new drugs for K. pneumoniae infection.

We are recruiting a 4-year PhD student to investigate bet-hedging in Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the cause of TB, through the lens of cell-to-cell variation in post-transcriptional gene regulation. Apply by 3 November!

We're hiring a Postdoctoral Fellow! How does Mycobacterium tuberculosis survive drug treatment? You'll use molecular genetics and single-cell approaches to investigate how gene expression variability drives drug-tolerant subpopulations. Full details and application instructions below.

Very excited to share our recently published work on NTM and their response to acid stress! As my first paper, I’m especially grateful for the support and guidance from @luizcarvalholab.bsky.social , Rachel and @maxgg.bsky.social . More to come!

Very happy to see this out! Great work by @lockwop.bsky.social @crick.ac.uk and first paper on NTMs from the lab! Parise made a set of 12 fluorescently labelled NTMs covering environmental and opportunistic mycobacteria... onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/...
