Mind you, Germans under Hitler didn't have knowledge of the very clear historical example of Hitler.
I've taught European history for thirty years. Americans have always asked me how the Holocaust was possible, how Germans could have enabled a madman reveling in mass murder to carry out his plans. Now we can see in real time how this is enabled; now we Americans have front-row seats.

Why isn’t @governor.ca.gov pursuing an Epstein file investigation in California, like New Mexico is?

READ: Israel developed a doctrine of total societal destruction that is used in Gaza — and is now deploying it in Lebanon and Iran with full US backing. This is one of the most important things you'll read today: mondoweiss.net/2026/03/isra...

A lot of people say AI isn't very good for the world and its outputs are routinely unreliable, but these haters fail to see how it's revolutionizing how we incinerate schoolchildren.
To strike 1,000 targets in 24 hours in Iran, the U.S. military leveraged the most advanced AI it’s ever used in warfare. Anthropic’s Claude partnered with the military’s Maven Smart System, suggesting targets and issuing precise location coordinates. https://wapo.st/46BFe1T

In new comments, Mark Carney misled and lied about Iran’s nuclear program and the history of negotiations — blaming failures on Iran, rather than Trump’s withdrawal. He condemned Iran for its retaliatory strikes, but not the US and Israel for their initial attacks in violation of international law.

This budget does not resemble anything the Liberals ran on in the election and it is well past time Canadian media start pointing that out. It was the biggest bait & switch in Canadian electoral history #cdnpoli
“There’s huge differences between what were in the election platforms and what are actually being proposed in the budget,” said @davidmaccdn.bsky.social, senior economist with the @policyalternatives.ca #Budget2025 #cdnpoli www.thestar.com/politics/fed...

If the Carney government deploys generative AI -- a product that by design cannot be trusted to provide reliable information -- to answer Canadians' tax question, it should be required to forgive the taxes of anyone who follows any incorrect answers.

Great thread here on navigating COVID as a parent as well as the media’s complicity in mass infection. The CBC has been hugely disappointing throughout the pandemic. (Looking at you, Ian Hanomansing and buddy Bogoch). You may not have marched with the freedumb convoy but you might as well have.

“If Montreal’s younger demographic wants to be counted in this election and have their priorities and concerns represented at city hall, they better take the time to cast a ballot. Because right now — and I mean this with zero ageism — the over-65 crowd seems to be voting strong.”
