Back in MY day not only did physical jobs use a completely different resource called TP, but MNK AoE drained it faster than thaumaturges drain ethers. A common prank back then was the party's AST giving MNK the haste card, which would make them use TP so fast (even ST) they couldn't recover it.

#WoLQotD but for the players. What are some "back in my days..." about the game you'd like to share?

Back in MY day we had cross-class actions, and you had to level other classes to get them. In fact, even though you "only" needed two classes at certain levels to unlock jobs, there was always a "tertiary" class to level just for the cross-class actions (example: WAR's Fracture for MNK)

if y'all thought that xiv drama was far too persistent, then hoo boy just wait until discord goes ahead with making its servers searchable on the web. people in this community have so much free time we're gonna see a new scandal a day pop up from this lmao

bluesky's moderation bot is so weird. i already tagged this as having nudity, but what tf is "adult" about this that isn't covered by the tag I already put on it???

fuck, I just realized that Oyuun and Yotsuyu are cut from the same cloth. Women who became bitter after their lives were taken from them by those who should've protected them. There's a reason I don't let Oyuun become khagan after StB's nadaam; she'd be just as cruel as Yotsuyu is to the Domans.

$80 billion and there's still starving families both domestic and abroad $80 billion could help solve so many of our issues, and it went into the hallucination engines

A new survey of 1,000 American adults found that the strongest supporters of transgender sports bans are not the people who admire women most: they are the people who hold the most hostile views about women. www.helenwebberley.com/news/transge...

lmao one of our ballot items includes choosing between someone who "prefers Democratic party" and someone who "prefers Moderate Democratic party" just say you're trans-exclusive, dipshit

Washington state has a handy voter's information guide they send out before every election, with info on every ballot item, and arguments for and against (and rebuttals of those arguments) Every single Republican "rebuttal" starts with "don't be misled," followed by misdirection lmao

there's a ballot measure locally to repeal a millionaire tax and the best argument they could come up in support of repealing it is that "well, everyone always votes against an income tax so they're betraying our trust!" idk how to tell you this but i actually don't care if rich people suffer a bit

Turn-based RPG enjoyers have another title to add to their list. Romancing SaGa 3 Destinies United looks to be a promising remake that well serves newcomers to SaGa series systems. Our written (and video!) report from our hands-on session:

novacrystallis.comRomancing SaGa 3 Destinies United - October PreviewImagine, if you will, a world where every three hundred years a cursed solar eclipse occurs, which consigns every newborn to death—except one. This sole child inherits incredible power.

lrp — idk, maybe it’s the result of being a lifelong Sonic fan, but the idea that people are legitimately afraid to talk about what they like saddens me Who gives a damn if someone finds you annoying for it? When did they get to decide what you like and don’t like?

For most of us, we’re going to top out at ~80 years old. That is not a lot of time, overall, and I think you should spend most of that time being loud and proud of what you enjoy in life. What’s the point in limiting yourself? For approval? Because trust me, you don’t want that kind of approval.

trust me i get it, it's like pulling teeth to try and talk about what you like because it's like, "oh my god, i'm so annoying! this is a dumb thing to be obsessed with!" but, seriously... some people like love island, some people like bird watching, some people like fandom stuff. you're in your head

there’s a nonzero chance that if I discovered Gnosticism before I lost my faith, I’d have flat-out swapped to it something about the world being the creation of a flawed being resonates extremely deeply with me
