[pkmn/hbhk] poketch doodles

22h

annoying guy from the pwt

22h

Sorry I was reading “마도애를 사랑하는 법” and it was so hbhk-core I wanted to draw them again

Sugimori style study ft my Timeskip Serena design ^v^

I wanted to mimic more how rounded the official art is in PLZA but I don’t think it translated well Either way it was a lot of fun (also kalos girlies trio)

I purposely included stuff exclusive to game Serena like her bag and her sunglasses :) The hairtie is similar to the flower motifs of mega Delphox

I love her a lot

I can’t watch poketubers cause the moment someone says something false my autism shows up like NO and I shut the video off

I just cannot watch a Pokemon video cause I know ppl are gonna be WRONG like after PLZA the only videos I watched were people who NEVER played Pokemon before or picked up the game after years of not playing Pokemon cause otherwise I knew the punchline would be “man XY is so SHIT”

Like I’ll literally watch any other video as background noise but for Pokemon it has to be VERY specific or it has to not involve the trainers at all The last Pokemon video I watched was one where a lady talked about how pokemon can help with disabilities in the Pokemon world and it was really nice

I can’t watch poketubers cause the moment someone says something false my autism shows up like NO and I shut the video off

I remember watching a fashion video on the protags and then seeing this woman say Nate and Rosa were the worst designed protags as if they weren’t designed to be 2010 otakus/sporty kids

I stopped watching a YouTuber for YEARS cause he called Nemona a yandere stalker during his blind SV stream it’s that serious

“New Zero Escape” Me: YAYYYYYYYYYYY “Uchikoshi wants to use GenAI to-” Me: oh

Kinda wish every time I drew Serena it didn’t attract a hoard of gross pokeani fans

Serena and May are two of my favorite protag girls my first two protags ever but I used to barely draw them cause I wanted to avoid that crowd but I wanna get over my fear and draw them more 😤

The problem is god I hate pokeani fans Like people ask me why I disabled comments and it’s just people are so goddamn rude

I was talking to one of my friends about how much I really like the world building in dagda and the thought came up like what if in the Pokemon world they don’t have traditional months compared to earth what if it’s unique

We know Pokemon has its own writing system and it’s been referenced that different regions have different writing dialects through that writing system but I still think about it a lot

I think the conspiracy stuff in Leda’s route is really cool

I have successfully recruited Esme in Leda’s route yayyyy ^v^

I’m gonna give her magic training like I did with Guzran for the fun of it (and cause she gets recruited in Theo’s route so late so the time is now to experiment)

I looked up her spell list and it looks decent enough for me to play around but her magic stat is horrible rn but it’s nothing a bit of grinding can’t fix

I’ve learnt not to trust Johto fan game creations like hgss demakes or remakes cause they always replace Lyra with Kris cause “oh we are combining the best of Crystal and HGSS”

Also you can’t claim to have a demake and use the HGSS designs That’s cheating Make your own designs using gen 3 design logic

Also for the love of GOD stick to the Gen 3 graphics if you want to do a Gen 3 inspired game

I’ve learnt not to trust Johto fan game creations like hgss demakes or remakes cause they always replace Lyra with Kris cause “oh we are combining the best of Crystal and HGSS”

I think the best way to approach the debacle is just to have Lyra as a playable character and then Kris as one of the lab NPCs you talk to when upgrading your dex if you want them to coexist but I’m sorry a HGSS inspired game without Lyra is like cookies and cream without the cookies

I get people grew up with Kris but people also grew up with Lyra They are both extremely important to people but so many people drag Lyra to the side cause she exists :(

I made Leda into a charioteer for the sheer joy of running over Maria with a chariot

ME SEEING HER TRY TO RETREAT BACK TO THE TRAIN LIKE OH NO YOU DONT

Ofc the twin fuckboys of arago are behind all this

I FORGOT IT WAS LUMI DAY HAPPY LUMI DAY (hbhk fankid)

I made her on this day 7 YEARS AGO!!!!!!

I legit had to open up Tomodachi life for the first time in months cause oh my god Lumi day wow 🥺 I’m too busy to draw her rn fuckkkkkkk but I love you Lumi

Ngl I forgot that white magic and dark magic are considered different classes Like there’s no traditional healer in this game usually the mage classes can handle both white and dark magic but the advanced classes picking one or the other piss me off

I’m sorry Echoes being my first game has spoiled me I want my mages to hold a sword To this day Priestress is my favorite class of all time to the point my first DND OC was basically Zelda with a sword cause having magic AND a weapon is awesome

I want Cai to hold his canonical weapon AND be able to heal and fight with magic is that too much to ask 🙄 (this would break the game)

Cause for example in Cai’s route when I decided to make him a shaman he was also a healer but when I promoted him to the canonical class his dad gave him he lost his healing abilities and I’m like fuckkkk I’m so used to you and Tialla healing ppl now I need a actual healer

Cai and Esme but I put them in BW2 cause I can (Halloween themed destress doodle)

Drawing my faves cosplaying/acting as my faves is so so much fun I had alot of fun ^v^

I based the palettes off of their actual palettes! I redesigned the clothes a little too to make them unique but it’s funny how much Cai’s palette really matches Nate’s

Cai and Esme but I put them in BW2 cause I can (Halloween themed destress doodle)

Unironically this premise would make for a really really good nuzlocke/soullink run like a isekai storyline (<— girl who grew up on nuzlocke comics/fanfics as the only means for protag content)

My friend (after sending him my Esme art): man I wonder who’s your favorite character Me: it’s actually a tie between Lulu, Esme, and Halvin. I really like Ursula as well like her talking about how painting helps express herself is cute. I’m excited to meet Anatolia and Orchel and-

SOMEHOW Catania is in the top 10 favorite characters just cause I made her a mage and I think her dying to cheese is funny but there’s so many characters I love in this game it’s insane

Sometimes I forget my own OCs are really cute Like wow I love Mari and Carmella what cute designs

Art fight gave me such a big ego boost when it came to my ocs cause now I’m like woah I’m kinda goated and I didn’t even upload half my ocs on there

Massive shoutout to more of my ship propaganda spreads (manifesting more soon)

Cute

The “Barry is Adaman and Irida’s descendant” theory is so true to me idcccc

These ones are my favorite spreads in general So cute

My big life goal is to make plushies of my own ocs one day ^^

I wanna make my ocs into dolls too! I’ve been OBSESSED with monster high doll repaint videos but that is a expensive hobby to get into so I’ll wait until I graduate first
