i have these awful vivid imaginations of smashing open my own skull. i wait for the intrusive thoughts to go away. they remain, and i remember i had invited them to begin with. the gruesome morbid curiosity that asks what a brain stew would really look like. fragment of bone like shells in the yolk.

if the brain were not already my own, i think it would be less appealing. but i'm already pretty disgusting to begin with. I don't think i can get much more off-putting. if my guts were scattered on the pavement, maybe they wouldn't recognize me. they would look and think i used to be normal before
