You ever have a group project in school & you wish some of the people the teacher put in your group, weren’t in your group, because you knew that you’d either fail with them or have to carry more weight than you should?!

Harris would have been an excellent president. She would have had capable advisers. She would have transformed the Dem Party with muscular progressivism. I’m still not over it

I need someone to explain to me why it’s always “if you can’t pay rent, buy fewer lattes and avocado toasts” and not “if you can’t pay your employees a living wage, buy fewer yachts and real estate”. Explain it to me like I’m in kindergarten.

After dinner tonight, my younger sister told me: "When I was younger, I used to sit at the table with the men after holiday dinners, watching the women clean up and thinking--why don't they just sit? Now I realize, if they didn't do it, no one would."

Corporate media’s failure to explore Musk's ties to China is indefensible. This is a national security issue. Apparently the wealthy oligarchs who own corporate media don’t want to go after a fellow plutocrat. My new article: deanobeidallah.substack.com/p/did-musk-b...

deanobeidallah.substack.comDid Musk block the original budget deal to protect his business deals with the Chinese Communist Party?!Even Vivek Ramaswamy called Musk a puppet of China

Does anyone believe that the same corporate media that helped normalize Trump after he attempted a coup and incited the Jan 6 terrorist attack because he was good for ratings won't help Trump run for a third term by telling us the 22nd Amendment has "never been tested" before"? Of course they will.

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment is crystal clear that any person who had previously taken an oath to the US and then "engaged in insurrection" is barred from holding federal office. As the Colorado Supreme Court ruled, Trump engaged in an insurrection. US Supreme Court did NOT overrule that.

You cannot find common cause “on core issues like corruption” with supporters of Trump, who is far and away the most corrupt president in history and isn’t even pretending to divest from his business this time around. Come on.

Remember when it was a massive scandal that Russians donated to Trump by using straw men to buy tickets to his inaugural and $50M went unaccounted for? That’s going to seem quaint compared to the next four years. Especially with immunity. Buckle in.

can’t wait for Elon to change the country’s name to UXA

NY Times Pitchbot@nytpitchbot.bsky.social

Opinion | Elon Musk's brilliance starts with letting his lieutenants run the day-to-day of his most valuable properties, whether that's Linda Yaccarino (X), Gwynne Shotwell (SpaceX), or Donald Trump (United States of America).
