I’m additionally delighted to see that this is your podcast #236. Being an incurable Silurians obsessive, this immediately calls to mind Fulton Mackay on his cyclotron control telephone, saying: “Two-three-six today. Now get that right! Two-three-six!”

This is possibly the first time we've ever been reposted by a Dalek but it's definitely the first time we've been reposted by Foxy Faced Charles. It would really have been the Purple Pim if we'd gone through life without achieving that. ☺️

Look closer at this still from Day of the Daleks, I bet you don't know that everyday objects are used to create them! Find out just what makes a Dalek in our new episode out now!

“What, me throttle my old pal Condo here? You don’t want to listen to the rumour mill! We’re besties!” #TheCapitolEvent @dwasonline.bsky.social @markjohn.bsky.social @diddlydumpodcast.bsky.social

Been having a difficult time tbh but this weekend has definitely warmed my spirit. Thanks to everyone involved, and special thanks to Tony J.

People need to realise. You know what they say - forewarned is forearmed

Oh I think we might manage that.

But then I thought “They’ve probably done that one already” 🤣

As you saw, what i cosplayed was anything but lightweight, at least carrying it around atop my head. 🤣 By the by, is it too late to give the post-convention podcast chat with Tony Jordan a Karl Marx spin with the title ‘DWAS Capitol’? 🤔😉

Oh come on now, Mark. You can't leave us dangling like that. Are we meant to just guess which one is the question master and which the cosplayer?

What a chap Uncle Dez is. I'd like to say dis-arming but...

Sadly I had to go to my room for a lie down and completely missed these handsome devils from Karn haranguing an imperial Dalek (from the almost as handsome Tom at Tom’s Refurbishments) @thecapitolevent

Few survive Morbius! It was a very serious weekend

Genius cosplayer @huwdennis.bsky.social managed to rope in some handsome fool to be the Condo to his Morbius monster.

At #TheCapitolEvent, Morbius and Condo patiently explain to @alexmoore99.bsky.social that they would appreciate prettier locations on Karn next time. @huwdennis.bsky.social @markjohn.bsky.social

The Cutaway Boys receive detailed feedback. #TheCapitolEvent @cutawaycomics.bsky.social

Don't fancy yours much, Mark. #TheCapitolEvent @huwdennis.bsky.social

Have a belting Beltane.

Some days are better than others... ...and the day our episode on Rumours of Death comes is surely a better one?! Are these two what Dr Who fans would call a "Holmesian Double Act"? We discuss their role in the story & much more! www.podbean.com/ew/pb-jk7km-...

Vale, James Valentine. Anyone who has seen my 'I Was A Teenage Time Lord' documentary will know how excited I was to meet him and be on the Afternoon Show back in 1988. I feel like a part of my youth has slipped away. www.abc.net.au/news/2026-04...

DON'T READ THE COMMENTS returns for a sad reason. thedwshow.net/2026/04/23/d...

That was indeed lovely. I came for the Missing Eps chat, and stayed for the Exilon-t second course. Bonus points for the Blyton defence!
