In our conversation about Ultraworld, we ask if this is as far from The Way Back as the show gets, before starting to turn back towards that premise. What's your view?

Our episode on Ultraworld is out We're now deep into Series C, with another first time writer for the show... so what did we make of it? Available on your podcast app, or directly here: www.podbean.com/eas/pb-yxrpd...

How amazing is it that we live in a world were a podcast wants to discuss these! We look forward to our own look at some of these spin offs in the future...

Probably no prizes for guessing which episode we've just recorded....

We're working on our notes and content for our episode on Rescue, and think there's going to be a lot of things to discuss in this one!

Sarcophagus - heavily edited! - was the last episode on the final compilation tape, so an important part of Blake's 7 for the generation who came to the show via those tapes!

Once again in Series C the show tries something different - does it work? We discuss Sarcophagus in our latest episode! www.podbean.com/ew/pb-x4wac-...

We've recorded our little tribute to Michael Keating, to include on our episode looking at Sarcophagus, out at the end of this week.

We're both very sad to hear of the passing of Michael Keating. Blake's 7 wouldn't have been what it was without him. Some of the most memorable moments were all down to him, and by all accounts he was a wonderful chap. He'll be missed.

We've recorded our Series C Special! Some good discussions on the themes of the series, where the show is now, & how our views of a number of episodes changed watching them for the podcast. We also had an unexpected "snap" on our "Player of the Series".....

We're recording our Series C Special this afternoon... any thoughts on what should be our Top 3/Bottom 3 stories of the season?

Our episode on Rumours of Death has had more downloads in its first five days than any other ep from season 3! Thank you to everyone who listened; we're glad you enjoy Rumours of Death as much as we do! www.podbean.com/ew/pb-jk7km-...

I caught up with this yesterday. An insightful analysis of a great episode. Give it a listen.

"That's your way out. It's a better deal than you gave any of your victims." On our latest ep, we ask if this is the darkest moment in Blake's 7 so far? Or at least since The Way Back?

Some days are better than others... ...and the day our episode on Rumours of Death comes is surely a better one?! Are these two what Dr Who fans would call a "Holmesian Double Act"? We discuss their role in the story & much more! www.podbean.com/ew/pb-jk7km-...

A compelling listen. Inspired me to revisit the episode. Cheers peeps

Absolutely agree with you. This was an amazing episode. It did that wonderful thing of giving us an 'upstairs/downstairs' style view of the Federation.

A great listen! My favourite Blake’s 7 of all since I first saw it – despite being only 8 at the time* You bring out a lot of Boucher’s brilliant lines, but as you also enjoy “I’m tired, and I hurt” and “Some days are better than others,” those are the two B7 lines I use most often in everyday life.

"It's an old wall, Avon, it waits." We've been looking forward to this one! It's time for Rumours of Death! Check out what we have to say about this Boucher episode, and let us know your thoughts as well! www.podbean.com/ew/pb-jk7km-...

GIN & TARDIS returns for 2026 with an unscheduled, but very welcome, look at the brand spanking new special edition of WARRIORS OF THE DEEP. Enjoy! @davidkitchen.bsky.social @spacefallb7.bsky.social thedwshow.net/2026/03/22/g...

OTD 1980: Blake’s 7 – Rumours of Death “It’s an old wall, Avon, it waits…” B7’s greatest Chris Boucher’s masterpiece Film noir love and betrayal Devastating emotion Successful revolution Complicated identities and Avon’s ‘It’s complicated – no, *very* complicated’ shipping (Perhaps more later)

And that's our episode on Terminal in the can! But Rumours of Death is out next...

We've released episodes on four Series C stories in the last 2-3 months, and - whilst we've certainly had some critical points to make here and there - we've found a lot more positives than we expected! Where do you stand on the first half of Blake's 7's 3rd season?

I'm listening to Space Fall: A Blake’s 7 Podcast on Podbean, check it out! www.podbean.com/pa/pbblog-wx... Enjoying this deep dive whilst pondering what Servelans' babies would actually look like. Such severe haircuts

I used to question the stupidity of villains, particularly the autocratic or fascistic ones, in classic Who. The past decade has changed my mind on this and I now think that when they are written as stupid it is merely a more accurate portrayal. And Servalan is A+ both wicked and dumb here.

I started my first watch through of Blakes 7 on Dec. 31 with one episode each day (and catching up with the corresponding Spacefall podcast eps). This story I found quite dire and I fully appreciated the effort you two put in to finding some nicer things to say about it!
