Two weeks ago, I launched events for Laramap. Some people liked it, which made me happy, but usage is low. I spent two days building it between client projects, so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed. Did it not spread, or do people just not care?

Laramap Events is live. Claim the events you're going to or have been to, see who else is there and share your photos. The map draws a line from everyone's home to the venue, which looks better than I expected. What's the furthest you've travelled for a Laravel event? laramap.dev/events/larav...

It's fascinating how a single message can spark motivation. Laramaps events have sat idle for months now. I worked on it the whole morning after receiving a nice email from Simon, who just came back from Laravel Live Denmark. Hope to ship this soon.

Also working on a new design for the actual editor of FilamentStudio. I think this UI looks way cleaner and more professional than before. #Laravel #Filamentphp

When Laramap took off, I realised there was no way to share your profile, because users had no direct links. I quickly shipped direct links using the users UUID. That was a practical solution, but UUIDs don't look cool, so I added support for user handles. Check the account tab and claim yours.

In my free time, I'm working on Filament Studio again. Currently, I'm focused on improving usability by introducing a client dashboard that will allow you to save, load, and preview your themes. Stay tuned for updates.

🌍 I'm excited to share that the list view for Laramap is now live! I had an early version back in late December, but I wanted to improve the mobile experience. I'm happy with the results and hope it makes it easier for everyone to connect with fellow Artisans. Check it out! #Laravel

I have wanted to ship a list view for Laramap for months. Both the desktop and mobile views are nearly complete, but every time I am ready to launch, I notice an issue with the map interaction. Each time I fix one bug, I end up introducing another. Maps are hard! 😬

And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for: two new releases for Filament’s fifth birthday! We excited to introduce both the new Filament rebrand & mascots AND a new premium plugin: Filament Custom Dashboards

I fixed several long-standing bugs and added some smaller feature requests to Filament Excel today. If you use it, check out the last three releases. If you have some bucks left consider supporting me through GitHub Sponsors so I can continue providing these plugins for free. ✌🏽

I have so much admiration for the Americans who are putting their lives at risk by standing up to the regime that has shredded everything America was supposed to be. That said, if you are thinking of fleeing and want to chat about life as an American abroad, reach out.

The first 15 plugins are marked as ready for Filament v5 on the website, with 327 more to go. Since v5 is only Laravelenance release to support Livewire, updating the plugins should be straightforward. #FilamentPHP #Laravel

We’ve launched Filament v5 and Filament Blueprint today! 🤖 Filament v5 adds support for the newly-released Livewire v4! Blueprint is a premium Laravel Boost extension that gives AI agents deep, structured knowledge of Filament, so they can write detailed implementation plans.

It's awesome to see one's plugin in a real product. Here's a demo of Filament Spotlight Pro on vucavoid.com showcasing it's seamless integration into any Filament panel. If you have integrated Spotlight Pro into any project, I'd love to receive your feedback or watch a demonstration. #Laravel

I am satisfied with the desktop version of the list view for Laramap. Clicking a profile will zoom in on the map. Once you close it using the button, the Escape key, or by clicking the map, it will return you to the previous map bounds unless you interact with the map. Next up: mobile interaction.

I just spent hours debugging an issue on Laramap, only to realize it's happening because it reaches the minZoom level. 🤦🏽
