Re-discovering the benefits of putting notes, tasks, etc. on paper for planning my day. There's something about hand-written tasks that digital tools can't quite recreate - and the satisfaction of crossing them off when they're done!

Oh FFS. I was straight until I was 40. Then I learned I could love women, too. Still married to my husband. Just polyamorous. And I do strongly prefer men, but there have been outliers. I'm feminist AF, but not serving the patriarchy like you're doing here. Your claims otherwise are absurd.

Very interesting thing that we often don't think about but, when we see it, feels so obvious it should always be there. Meaning that: other puzzles with emoji results should have the same type of accessibility.

I've mentioned before, but I think about this a lot: "There must be another room, somewhere down the hall, where the real meeting is happening, where the real experts are, making the real decisions ... because it can’t just be us. It can’t just be this." -- Jake Sullivan, 2013

Bit of a weirdo blog post that's been rattling through my brain recently. There are some interesting parallels between anxiety & optimisation and, for me at least, the tools I use for one can be pretty damn useful when dealing with the other Let me know what you think <3 write.as/delete44/on-...

write.asOn anxiety & premature optimisationI understand computers much better than I understand people. And I barely understand computers, so lord knows how I get through the day...
