Emergency at work. Which means I got to enjoy working 2 extra hours overtime on Friday evening and a whole extra day (10 hours overtime) on Saturday ( I dont work on weekends only Mon - Fri) I have a sneaking suspicion that the system error was caused by ai bs but I will wait and see

Fuck AI Just sat through a work meeting. The people at the very tippity top of my company revealed that 1. Competitors are using AI, therefore we must use AI. 2. We are looking for ideas on how to implement AI. 3. Nothing is going to be done about understaffing because AI will fix everything

So to sum up, everyone is using AI because they are afraid that someone else will gain some advantage. Except there is no advantage because AI cannot do anything worth a fuck And companies are going to hold out as long as possible before starting to hire again to make sure AI cannot replace us all

This fucking bubble needs to pop already, what is this? I'm pretty sure that our competitors are also in meetings right now, desperately trying to figure out how to "automate their processes & workflows" with understaffed teams and overhyped technology that does fuck all to improve anything

No more physical games for playstation cuts deep. I love collecting games, especially those with steelbooks. I am particularly proud of my final fantasy collection. (I am definitely getting FF7 revelation deluxe edition too). I have so many more. And more coming, Control Resonant, Persona 4...

In the past I bought games brand new because I wanted to collect rare editions for the series I love. That obviously will not be happening with digital. Why pay the highest price point for a brand new game that will require multiple patches before it even playable and will be on sale in 1 year?

And after 2028 thats it I guess. Honestly at this point in time I just dont see myself progressing to the next generation of gaming any time soon. What incentive do we have? They have made it clear they zero intention of letting us keep our digital libraries.
